Great TV for the $, great picture streaming Netflix via PS4. The remote control alone is awesome. Remote is solid, rubber buttons, overall feels like top quality. The only thing that held me back from 5 stars is the silver bezel. I would have preferred black. For me the silver frame is unusual and a slight distraction. But each person may feel differently. You can't beat the price for this budget 4k TV.

Main competitor: Vizio E65 series
Sharp LC-65N7000 Pro's:
Inexpensive way to get into 4K
Great sound from built-in speakers
Good design
Built-in TV tuner (unlike Vizio)
Con:
Image takes some tweaking in order to look good.
No true HDR
On the floor model at Best Buy, the image does look as bright as Vizio's, but at home it looks fine.
Somewhat confusing menu system
Overall:
Great value and good way to get an inexpensive 4K TV

When I first hooked the TV up the show that was on wasn't coming in very clear and wasn't too spectacular. After 5 or 10 minutes getting the settings to where I wanted them and finding some HD programming I was blown away. I have never had an LED TV because I love the colors on my plasma TVs so much. Figured it was time for an upgrade. Could not be happier with the purchase that I made. Way beyond what I thought it would look like. Takes some getting used to the picture style though. Would definitely buy another one even at the higher price. Glad I got mine on sale!!!!

I have had this TV for 2 weeks now and it is used as a game room TV for the kids for movies (both streaming and Blu-ray), TV watching (cable) and video gaming. This TV performs very nicely for all three uses and the picture is wonderful. The initial set-up is very easy and intuitive and takes just a couple of minutes. I have played around with the various settings over the last 2 weeks and have found the best picture for me and the viewing location by tweaking all the settings. This is a personal choice so just play around with the settings for awhile and you will find your "it" picture. Straight out of the box, the picture was OK but please take some time and try different settings....you will be very pleased at the picture.
Blu-rays look wonderful and 4K content is stellar. Out of curiosity, I hooked up my 4K Blu-ray player (Samsung) from my main living area and played "The Martian" 4K disk on this Sharp TV and it was beautiful. The picture was very very close in quality to my much more expensive "main" TV upstairs and very impressive.
Streaming is quick and the internet has yet to drop on this TV (my router is 2 floors above this TV and it still performs great).
Video gaming (Xbox One) works flawlessly and once I tweaked the motion settings, I do not see any motion lag or blur.
All in all, this is a great TV at a great price and honestly, you can't go wrong. I have owned TV's from this price to 5x this price over the last 7 years and this one is a keeper.

This TV stands out over others in similar price and actually above it's price because the image is very sharp, you can actually clearly see the blemishes on the skin of newscasters, and colors are superior to my older samsung that i bought last year.
The most important factor is image quality. This TV is a very good buy. No need to spend double on curved TV's, this TV has anti glare coating already and can be viewed from any angle, clearly.
The tv has ABGN wifi connectivity.
This is important, becuase the "N" or the 5Ghz network is much faster and allows clear and HD video streaming while the 2Ghz is not a good option for video streaming.
The remote is easy to use, the TV has a clear and crisp surround sound.
The cons: none so far. But will update if i do see any.

Obviously, this is not the best 4k TV on the market but for the money it is amazing. This was a purchase for our master bedroom at our new house, so we didn't want to spend a fortune. Just prior to this purchase, I bought an expensive 75 inch Sony (which I also love) for my entertainment room and highly considered returning it for another one of these.

Had this TV for 3.5 years and it was been great to me until today where it seems some LEDs are dead. TV not as bright but other then that, works fine. It has been used constantly and always kept on. Only thing i hated was you cant control anything besides volume and input on the TV. Remotes dont last so not having an option to control without remote was unfortunate but I rarely needed it.

Under-rated UltraHD - my Best Buy entry level 4K

I've read a lot of reviews, did my own research, looked at all the big screen TVs on display at BestBuy and finally settled on this Sharp 4K TV. I considered all brand names but realized the best value for my money is with this Sharp LC-65N7000U. It is sufficiently adequate for my personal use of casual over-the-air and movie viewing. While the set was impressive at the store, out-of-the-box video setting was the opposite when I set it up at home. I had to work with the set-up a little to get it up to my personal preference. There are 6 picture modes of which "Game" mode got the best setting for my preference without further tweaking, which I can still do with this TV. Although I have external speaker set-ups available, I did not need it. This TV has dbx-tv audio enhancements which give sound-bar-quality audio from the built-in speakers (total of 30 watts – highest per my research). dbx-tv includes Total sonics that optimizes the overall sound quality by increasing bass, makes dialog clear and natural, and widening the sound field, it has Total Surround, and Total Volume that maintains consistent sound level within input changes. Also has Dolby Digital Plus, 4K upscaler, dual band wifi, dynamic contrast picture, new HDR processing, local dimming from full-array LED, and built-in web browser to which I was able to connect a Logitech K400 wireless keyboard with touch pad.
This TV has HDMI-CEC connection which lets you hook-up CEC certified Bluray or other devices with ease so you can use one remote to turn on/off the system, CEC also allows you play your choice of media/device and this Sharp TV switches automatically to that device to play on the screen. You do not need to tinker with settings to switch media source, plus the dbx-tv’s Total Volume maintains the sound level so there’s no abrupt change in volume level. You can also set-up your own cable or sattlite remote to pair with this Sharp so you can use just one remote to control your cable box and TV.
Overall, this TV is amazing for its price, features and performance. The premium sound quality is the result of multiple digital signal processing (DSP) audio enhancement technologies from dbx-tv. I do not need a soundbar. My main criteria when researching for a TV were; picture quality and sound quality - just enough to be able to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Consider your own preference and intended use. If you’re a gamer, this TV is not for you. Upscaling of any video source to nearly 4K works well. The picture is so much improved but be reminded that all manufacturers advertise this hype for their upscaler but "NEARLY" 4K is controversial.
The initial set-up was very easy, too easy in fact that it made me wonder what the other reviewer on here wrote that was difficult. Maybe his review was meant for a different TV. This Sharp TV is quality built comparable to the more expensive Sony, Samsung and LG. For the price I paid for this TV I can add a Best Buy 5 year extended warranty and still come out cheaper than the comparables, now that’s Smart TV.

This is the 2nd Sharp HDTV I have bought. The screen is colorful and bright and sharp. The 65 inch screen size on this TV fits perfectly in our entertainment center. The sound on this TV is loud and clear. Sounds really good. I would definitely suggest this HDTV to anyone looking for a budget TV. Head over to BestBuy and look at this TV in the store. I know this is the HDTV I wanted to buy after looking at the display unit at BestBuy. Sports games on this HDTV looks awesome. I haven't watched any Blu-Ray movies on this TV yet but am sure it looks great. Go check out this HDTV for yourself. Its a great HDTV that looks just as good as more expensive HDTV's.

First purchased the Sony 65" 850D and returned it due to picture being fuzzy some of the time. It seemed like it was having trouble upconverting or maintaining the HD picture! The second TV which is this Sharp 65" 4K LC-65N7000U TV has a much better picture and better audio , is was also 700 dollars cheaper. Family members that saw both TV's commented on the better picture with the Sharp.

This TV Is way better than I expected. I expected quality but it is such a pleasure to watch the beautiful display of this TV. The picture quality rivals that of my Sony xbr850D which cost twice as much. The Sony has more features but considering the cost, this Sharp is well worth the price.
Glad I chose this one.

Sharp Support Fails Big Time

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
While the picture was great while it lasted.
For an unknown reason it went black
Called Sharp who recommended a repair location.
They picked up the TV
The repair shop Ordered the part 3 weeks ago and Sharp now say's it is on back order and they refuse to give any additional information as to when they will ship the part. Their comment is "when the part is ready we will ship it then and we have no idea when that would be."
The repair facility has had no luck and suggested I call Sharp and put a complaint in. FYI They don't care and any help was a big fat zero.
So when it comes to support and no TV for at least a month and counting.
Recommend you choose another brand to purchase.
