Fortunately, I registered it on December 3, 2020, for warranty protection. In February, 2021, I discovered that the oven was becoming rather hot when cooking for 30 minutes or more. This was the same problem that I had with an older Sharp model after 6 years of use and was subsequently replaced. I contacted Sharp customer service and they are investigating this matter. A slightly warm oven is okay but it should not get hot despite the length of cooking. Otherwise, I like its features and reasonable price.

No issues with it yet, and it has been a hot food lifesaver during the multi-month renovation of our kitchen.

So nice for the timed use when you just need a few seconds or any of the express buttons. I have had to get used to using the minimum cooking times as it cooks thoroughly at the prescribed times.

It steamed everything it cooked, opening the door was like walking in a sauna with the steam hitting you. The first few times I cleaned up dark spills I didn't think anything of it till the 3rd time and I realized it was mold growing because the microwave was so wet always. Returned it a few days after purchase and bought a different brand and have had no problems.

Simple Compact 12" Microwave

We had this same model from years ago in a very specific-size space, and I was happy to find a newly updated, yet similar model. Love the popcorn button. It's not fancy, but does it's job.

The Sharp microware has worked out super and the Best Buy price was the lowest of all the places we looked.

If the time cook and power buttons were more prominent and easier to see. And if the "beep when done" buzzer was slightly softer sounding. It cooks perfectly and doesn't take up tons of space on the countertop!

The only thing is the carousel is a little noisy and there is a learning curve on how to program the timer etc., as compared to the Panasonic's.
