This unit had little use, nothing heavy duty, and it expired two months after the warranty. We had one previous to this and it lasted way longer. A sign of the times? Maybe so, but we cannot afford to be buying appliances every year. I personally have been Sharp products for years with some satisfaction but this one went down way too early in my book. To those who may be considering this item, beware.

Sharp microwave

Have had it for quite awhile and it seems like if you use it for to long it gets hot and turns off and will not turn back on until it cools off. I need to get in contact with sharp and check into this. Seen online that this is a common problem.
