It recently died so i bought another one. The operation of this updated one is perfectly fine. However, the older version seemed more "solid". When i close the door this one sounds "tinny". The old one made a nice solid "thunk". Much like the solid sound the door on a better car makes compared to a cheap one. Bummer

Pluses include convenient one touch buttons for 30 seconds, 1, 2, and 3 minute increments, special function buttons like melt, soften, and popcorn with choice of bag size. Reheat function works well. Very quiet! Things I think could be improved: door release doesn't have a solid feel to it, power button is unintuitively located far from the time cook button.

Heats evenly, easy access minute/30 second buttons are very convenient. Heats fairly quickly. My only gripe is that the sensor reheat option makes it so hot you need a towel to pull out a pyrex. I usually have to stop it manually once it says there is a minute left.

We like that it has a door handle (didn't think we would miss it lol). It closes quieter unless you just slam it shut. It does have an interior light that comes on once the door opens and when in use. My kids like the ease of the quick timing settings. Only con about it is it runs a bit loud.
