Very happy with this replacement for a Panasonic we had for several years. Straightforward controls make it user-friendly. Express cook buttons make cooking/heating quick and easy. A little noisy but not so much to make it unacceptable.

Very good heats up quickly and everything is easy to work I would definitely recommend this microwave Its actually a good perfect size.

This Sharp microwave met all my expectations and I have found none of the reviewers negative comments apply to this microwave, Perfect size and easy to use.

I used to have a Panasonic counter-top microwave oven from 2000. When it died due to user error I bought another one. This lasted only three years. I went to buy another one and it was making strange noises out of the box, with the turntable skipping to turn. That's when I decided to switch brands. I got a Hamilton Beach but took it back the same day for being too loud. I finally ended buying this Sharp which seems to be holding. It appears to me many brands are making these microwaves at the same Chinese factory. The design is very similar across and the quality is equally bad. LG seemed of good quality but the user interface is way too complicated for a microwave oven.

Perfect midsize Microwave that takes up a smaller footprint than other 1.4 Cu.Ft ovens. Settings are easy to use and there's power to spare.

I love it. Very good gor me.. it was the best size for my life style.. its easy to use.

It is just the right size for me, good lighting, user friendly, and powerful. It has so many programmed options, that I have all I need at the push of a button.

I do not recommend this microwave! I purchased this Sharp model in March 2017 because the one I had had for years finally stopped working. I specifically bought a Sharp microwave because my previous Sharp unit was a great and lasted for several years. Within a couple of months the interior light of the new Sharp stopped working properly. It would cut on and off intermittently, and sometimes flicker; sometimes it would not come on, at all. Since the interior of this unit is dark gray, it is hard to see how well something is cooking when there is no interior light. The door and handle were somewhat tinny, and I could often feel some heat emitting from the bottom of the door. The bigger problem was the bottom surface covering began flaking off. It looked as if some sort of protective Teflon-like coating was breaking down and coming off in flakes. When I saw this, I had concerns about both any continued safe operation of the unit and any toxic fumes which might be generated by the flaking covering or exposed bottom surface of the unit. My previous unit lasted over 10 years. This Sharp unit lasted around 2 1/2 years, and it did not get that much use. I had an expectation that this unit would last a lot longer than it did. I was very disappointed with this unit. The only reason I bought a Sharp unit was because my previous one was made so well and lasted so long. I just replaced this unit with another brand.

This microwave is very easy to use and efficient. Our previous microwave was 20 years old. It was hard to make a change but needed. Heats quickly.

Easy to use feature buttons and modern look. Buttons are preprogrammed for some food items like popcorn. The color is a steel dark gray. Very nice.

just the right size and easy to use. The light comes on when the door is open and is on when in use.

May not have all the "bells and whistles" of the more expensive microwaves, but a good oven for the price. Good values and easy to operate.

Using the online pickup software, it was easy to acquire the item. There was a short delay in getting the microwave into the exact store, but that was a small problem going on everywhere in this age of social isolation. I was determined to get a microwave with a handle on the door this time, and I'm glad I did. It was the perfect size and had the features I wanted--minimal since I don't use a microwave that often.

It's quiet, has easy to follow instructions. I like that it has a handle rather than a push button to open / close and looks good on my counter. I don't care for the blue numbers for the clock and timer, they are hard to see from a distance. It's not as wide as my old one but is deep. My other Sharp Carousel died after about 12 years. Hope this one will last as long.

I brought this microwave as a replacement for one that the door latch broke. I love the way the latch works on my new one and it seems to have more power than my old one and easy controls. I would recommend this unit for anyone looking for a midsize microwave.
