Our first Sharp Microwave lasted for 25 years, the white plastic was getting yellow otherwise it still worked just fine. We purchase a Panasonic, and I hated it, the light only worked when it was cooking, the door closing was loud and harsh, you had to push the control panel buttons so hard it would move the microwave. I took it to work. The Sharp is So Much Nicer, it's a bit large but We Like it.

This is a replacement of an older version of the same oven make and model. The original lasted over 15 years. The replacement lasted about 5 years. I'm hoping this one lasts closer to 10 years... I like it as it's very large--able to hold a family-sized casserole, and powerful. it will heat a cup of tea in a minute, whereas the built-in convection oven we have takes 2 minutes. The power and speed translate to all things cooked in it, and the defrost function is great. The "done" alarm is a bit loud, but otherwise, this is easy to use and functions perfectly.

I have never purchased a sharp appliance before and I was pleasantly surprised. The microwave is very spacious on the inside, heats up vey quickly, has many options to choice from. Very happy with my purchase no issue and the price was good!

Bought this microwave online to pick up in the store. When we opened the box, we discovered it had been dropped. The latches were broken off and the door was bent down and of course would not close. The store was good about exchanging it, but when we got home the 2nd one had a dent in the lower half of the door. If I wanted a scratch and dent model, I would have bought one, but I paid full price. Not going to repack this one up and return it but, I am not happy with the way the handle the merchandise.

Very quiet microwave, however, a tad less powerful than the one we purchased previously at Sears. What used to take 2 minutes to heat a cup of water now takes 2 1/2 minutes. We will gladly trade-off the small amount of heating time for a quieter microwave. The other microwave was so noisy and the fan often continued on for a few minutes after the microwave was done.

This is a well thought out design that works fine for my family. It is bigger than I thought when I ordered it. The pick up was easy and efficient at curb side.

One morning, our old microwave "died" and it was off to Best Buy. w With the help of a wonderful salesperson, he asked what we needed in a new microwave (all the bells and whistles) and he found us the exact model we needed. Props to BB.

I like Sharp products and they have performed very well for me. We have had this unit for just about a year (still in manufacturer's warranty thankfully as a few buttons on the keypad stopped working. Sharp is in the process of replacing this unit when they have it back in stock. I do not like the wait as patience is not one of my virtues. I look forward to getting the replacement as we liked the functionality it provides. The automatic full minute cook times take time to get used to when our previous unit one punched in the numbers and then hit start. If you want 2-1/2 minutes, you quickly kearn to press the "2" button and wait for it to automatically start and then press the "30 Secs" button

We were remodeling the kitchen and this was our choice after reviewing others. Has exceeded our expectations and even fit into the space we had allotted for it. It was a great choice for us!

This oven has the size to precook the Thanksgiving turkey and the flexibility to safely melt delicate substances. The unit looks clean and modern with an easy to read keypad. It has every feature my foodie wife wants to create amazing recipes.

exactly what we wanted to replace a longtime workhorse of a microwave. easy for my wife, teen son and I to use. very reasonably priced for all you get.

Easy to use Microwave. The turntable does the bump and grind it sounds like when in use. Not too sure but it has taken me a bit of time to review and the unit is still working just fine!

Nice product and well built for durability and reliability. Digitally operated and convenient to anybody to operate. Had my monies worth and noregret whatsoever for acquiring this product.

After purchasing this microwave, it died in just 7 months. It randomly shut off and would go dark. I contacted Sharp (one of the worst companies I have dealt with in a long time) and after several emails they sent a replacement unit. Fast forward to nearly two years later to the day, and the wave guide burns up. This is the small piece of metal on the right side of most microwaves. Needless to say a scorch mark, flashing at the waveguide and melted interior plastic was obvious. Of course I unplugged the microwave and contacted Sharp again. They asked for pictures. After several rounds of "customer service" they escalated my case. Now they are trying to dismiss it due to the microwave not being clean enough. If you want to USE the microwave for anything other than looking at it and a clock, I suggest you avoid this brand at all costs.

Big microwave! The quality of this microwave is excellent. Great for cooking, re-warming food, great for cooking frozen foods, popcorn and other foods of choice.

Bought a replacement that started sparking. Same thing as my old one that lasted 9 years. Easy to use and a good value in my opinion.

The Microwave is very easy to use and operate. Its displayed on the island, and my contractor was able to surround the oven and it looks like its built in. Excellent purchase.

Happy with new microwave. Had a small college size microwave before and to upgrade to an actual “adult home size” one is awesome. Still getting used to all the buttons. And it’s big on the counter.

good looking microwave, functions as it should and has lots off room for big bowls or plates. heats evenly, bells dings a couple times when done,
