Car is awesome looking, but the battery sucks. After initial charge for 4 hours the car only ran for about twenty minutes and most of the time it was slow to start moving. Granddaughter very upset she couldn't play with it longer.

Overall the remote control car looks awesome. Only issue I had with it was that it wouldn't run. It would click and wouldn't move forward. I believe it was malfunction or the car itself was too heavy to take off. If it weren't for that issue it would be one sick toy for my roommates son.

I bought this for my son. Really disappointed with the quality of the product. The remote did not turn on. Came to know the battery wires are snapped. Who can help with this? Can I get a replacement.

My 6 year old son was excited to open this on Christmas. Before first time used we follow the instruction and charge the batteries for 4 hours. So we asked Alexa to set a timer for a 4 hour reminder. After the battery charge for more than 4 hour. I reminded my son and out we go to play. I noticed a delay for the vehicle to start moving forward or backward and after less than 5 min. RC Car stop working. SO I charged the batteries again. I when to make sure the electrical outlet was good and charge again. No luck still does not hold a charge.I would not recommend this product. Now I just hope I am able to return this item. We threw away the original package.

Battery drains out quick and to plug in charger we have to unscrew the back.

I picked this up when it was on sale and I am glad I did. I got this for my little brother and I was hoping he could learn how to drive it. When I took it out I charged the battery for a while and put it in. The controller is pretty cheap but it works and the bottom of the car is pretty sturdy. The only thing that sucks about this toy is the battery. I can get 2 minutes max from driving it around. My little brother doesn't know how to use the controller to drive it. But he loves pushing it and playing with it like it is a regular toy car. If you're looking for an RC car to play with or getting as a gift. I do not recommend this.

We were so excited for our little son when we found this at our local BestBuy. After pep-talking him through the 4 hour battery charging time we could finally take the truck outside the next day. Just to get hugely disappointed! The truck worked okay for about 5 minutes, then started making funny clicking sounds and wouldn‘t move. We only had hin driving it on concrete, not even the ‚terrain‘ it promised it could How do I explain this to an excited little kid?! We have to go home and recharge the battery every 5 minutes? Not happening. Huge, huge disappointment. We‘ll see, if we can return it. Just bought it yesterday.

I was in Best Buy and saw this on clearance and thought it would be something fun for my two little boys to have during these turbulent times while we're stuck at home. I charged the battery for 4 hours, put the 9V in the controller, paired it. But nothing. It might drive straight for 15 feet, but good luck getting it to turn. And when you try to drive it in reverse, it just stutters and makes a clicking noise. My guess is the 2.4 Ghz frequency used for the connection between the controller and the car, but it ultimately doesn't matter. It just doesn't work other than MAYBE a short 10 foot drive in a straight line.

The remote was missing and the item was returned!!

NOT worth the money or time. Battery doesnt last. And with minimal usage it breaks. Even if they exchange it still same issue.

Bought it for my nephew, charged the battery for 8 hours before first use. Hardly lasted few mins before I had to recharge. Unsure what to do to get a new battery.

The Sharper Image RC Truck needs a good battery. It takes 4 hours to charge and lasts maybe 5 minutes. BestBuy took care of me without any trouble.

Our battery pack didn’t hold a charge and we had a lot of trouble pairing the remote to the car.

This truck is sturdy and big like my grandson like it (I think). His mom put it together and now teaching him how to control it. I purchased it for his up-coming birthday. He loves trucks. Although he'll be 2 years old he can't stop saying "Truck gammy". HaHa. We were leaving his house and his dad said leave the truck Junnie until we get back. As soon as his dad picked him up to leave he started crying. I love the fact he will not hurt himself "pushing" it around. No sharp edges that I noticed and no small parts he can get his hands on. He will get a lot of years out of this truck. Thank you BEST BUY.

battery last less then 10 min. and can't find where to buy another. 10 min. is almost pointless plus it takes 2 hours or more to charge...

When driving backwards it makes a noise and clicking sound at front wheels and slow.

Looks cool and than u touch it and it's just so flimsy.m. not a fan but a kid would love it for sure

My son has a blast with it, I’d recommend this for younger children cause it’s its not overly fast and easier to control

great design, but poor battery and 'engine' quality
