Bought to give to family for gas for travel. Very few shells and family member had to go to 3 gas stations before the gas station could get the gift card to actually work. The card said zero at 2 gas stations but finally worked at the 3rd. Crazy.

Perfect gift for anyone driving a non-electric car in California. Only inconvenience is that you usually have to see the cashier in order to use it. (Depends on location).

Though shell gas is more expensive than other gas provider in my area and the gift card will only get the gas price of credit card purchase, I can still take the card and I can find shell gas station almost anywhere I go. Shell also had good gas quality.
