I love all Altus games and Shin Megami series is one of there best jrpgs

Fantastic game. Note if you are playing in handheld it is limited to 720p and does come away as blurry. Hense 1 star off. The gameplay is fantastic though.

Great gameplay and exploration. Also really easy to see all endings since the second playthrough can be done in a day, due to the option to carry over experience gained.

This is my first Shin Megami Tensei game and I am loving it so far. I’m about 12 hours in and in the second area. The fusing of demons is really cool and the storyline of Angels vs Demons is really intriguing.

A very dark and interesting RPG that stands out amongst its contemporaries. I'm not feeling that the story is stronger than SMT IV, but there's so much more freedom of movement. It's really fun to just zip around the hub areas and discover secrets and sidequests.

Great game, it was worth the wait. My only complaint is that the game doesn't look so pretty on the switch, I'm hoping it will come out on PS5 and Series X in the future. I would replay it and try to do everything.

Haven't beaten the game yet, but so far it's been well worth the wait. It's hard to put it down to do other things. Makes being a responsible adult a bit hard, but that's how you know it's good.

In terms of gameplay depth, this has some of the most you will find in a JRPG and its semi-open world is fun to explore as well. However, in terms of overall story, it's quite a step down from Nocturne, Soul Hackers, or Strange Journey. It's not paced very well and immediately throws you into things with almost no introduction for any of the cast. I'm between 3 and 4 stars on this, but the combat has been fun enough to give it 4.

Wish the steelbook art was better. games good. soundtrack amazing. Looks good in handheld on og switch model.

A great rpg for switch it’s kinda like Pokémon for adults definitely kinda hard so if you don’t like hard games wouldn’t recommend this one but the story and combat are great also has great characters all around great game.

My first shin megami game ever. I like it! It’s more dark and mature. Rpgs to me are usually so grating and have annoying characters. This is geared more for adults. Very happy with this darker rpg.

A great game for fans of JRPGs. It has a great turn based battle system that plays like a combination of Finsl Fantasy and Pokémon. Great graphics and sound design as well.
