Posted .Hi Michelle- Shokz here! There is usually a phone setting that allows callers to be announced. To have your phone announce who's calling, enable the "Announce Calls" or "Caller ID announcement" feature in your phone's settings.
iPhone:
-Open "Settings" and go to "Phone".
-Tap on "Announce Calls".
-Select your preferred option: "Always," "Headphones & Car," or "Never".
Android (using Google Phone app):
-Open the "Phone" app.
-Tap the three dots (more options) and select "Settings".
-Tap "Caller ID announcement".
-Select your preferred option, such as "Always".

I purchased it for my Mom and she loves it. It is to replace the in-ear one I bought for her before. Once the discount comes again, I will get one for myself too.

I do wish they had dedicated buttons on them but the more expensive model does. It is a little weird that you hold the left ear for volume down and right ear for volume up so controlling volume while wearing just one isn’t an option.
