The sound quality is excellent and the noise reduction is great for open-ear buds. Don't expect the same noise cancelation as in-ear buds or over the ear headphones, but for open-ear there's is a noticeable difference. Almost no ambient sound when audio is playing, depending on how loud it Is. They are super comfortable, I sleep with them on and they never fall off. The battery life is great, especially with noise

To start out; they are packed with features that may make them worth the price if you have the money to spare. Here are some pros. 1. They are open ear and sit on the outside of the canal. This gives them an impressive soundstage, and no reverberation. This also means they don't stick in your ear and produce that kind of discomfort or muffling in ears would. They also allow all external sound in, allowing you to hear clearly, but. 2. There is also active noise cancellation, which other open ear buds don't. This is purely done through the microphones and sound processing and does a good job reducing the volume of quiet or medium level sounds in your environment, particularly in the bass or low midrange. They do not physically block sounds, or seal the ear in any way and are completely ineffective as hearing protection. They should only by worn if the external volume level is already quiet enough for your comfort. 3. They come with a built in Dolby Atmos fracture that can improve the directional cues of your audio. It is really good at improving the immersion in certain music that might lack depth in its raw audio. The buds also have motion tracking that can help prevent the audio from "following you around" as you turn your head. 4. There is also a built in ten band equaliser, as well as built in presets and the option to save two presets of your own. They also have proper multi-band compression, allowing fairly high volume output without any frequencies being distorted. Over all, the audio quality is pretty impressive and accurate; however I personally think the way they compress the sound at varying volume levels, as well as their implementation of super bass holds them back a lot. There are also audible spikes and dips in the spectrum that can't simply be fixed just with the built in EQ. Some of the most noticable are around 3khz. I love how strong the bass is in these buds; however I find it to sound muddy and overemphasized in the higher bass regions, and they don't utilize the compression in the deeper bass much while there is definitely some potential there. While they are not the most neutral sounding buds; they are impressively accurate and distortion less making them pretty good headphones even for critical listening, though you may need to spend time equalizing them to make the most out of it.

I’ve been blown away by these headphones. I’m a lifelong AirPod wearer. I still have my Pro2’s, but they are honestly backups to the outstanding Shokz Openfit Pros headphones. I read tons of great reviews and was still skeptical. But they are super comfortable. I do not miss the pressure of having in-ear headphones, as I wear mine literally eight hours a day. What I was truly skeptical of was the noise canceling function. However, I can report that they work as good and probably even better than the AirPod Pro. The noise canceling on my Shokz was so good that my daughter had to shake me to get my attention while reading at a Starbucks last week. She said she had called my name quietly several times and I couldn’t hear a thing. Yet, they are still safe for workouts and walking/running. I love these things. I just wish the aftermarket had already made a protective case cover for the carrier. The charger/carrier provided by Shokz is super slippery. I’ve dropped it twice already. And because it is wider than an AirPod Case, along with being slippery, having no grip and made of super flimsy plastic, the case is super easy to break. I’m sure they will come up with a protective cover at some point, but that should’ve been ready to go as soon as they went on sale. That’s my only grip. These are straight up 10 out of 10 headphones!

    Game Changer for Awareness—Give them a "Break-In"

The Performance The Shokz OpenFit Pro completely changes the game for anyone who hates the "plugged-ear" feeling of traditional buds. The audio quality is surprisingly rich for an open-ear design—you get punchy bass without losing your connection to the world around you. The Active Noise Reduction does a solid job of cleaning up background hum during calls, making them my go-to for both outdoor workouts and office multi-tasking. The Fit & Comfort Note When I first started wearing these, I noticed a bit of a learning curve for my ears. If you wear silicone accessories (like eyeglass grips or mask straps), you might feel some pressure behind the ear after a couple of hours. However, don’t give up on them too fast! After about two weeks of consistent use, that discomfort completely disappeared. It seems like there is a "break-in" period where your ears adjust to the hook. Now, I honestly forget I’m even wearing them—they feel weightless. The Verdict If you prioritize safety, situational awareness, and ear health, these are the best on the market. They are incredibly stable during high-intensity movement, and once you get past that initial 14-day adjustment, the comfort is unmatched.

These are literally the best open ear headphones on the market. I was able to get them a few weeks ago rarly, and i must say the sound on these are amazing. Perfect at around 30%. The noise reduction feature is an added bonus, but you wont really need ti use it. They are comfortable, and stay in okace without worry. Definitely worth the price.

They're mostly comfortable, the battery life is good so far and the sound is good. I think Bose's open earbuds sound better but these aren't as prone to falling of whilst working and they have a much better battery life which keeps them in use more often. My one gripe is that the app refuses to connect to them so I haven't been able to use all the features of the buds. I wish these companies would just put buttons on them so the features could be turned on without the app.

These are hands down the best open ear headphones I’ve owned. Battery life is great. I use throughout an entire work day without having to charge. Calls are decent and sound better than others I own. Mic quality is much better than the Bose ultra open, and the JVC nearphones. Sound quality wise it beats most other open style I own (JBL sound gear sense, the two I mentioned above, Shokz openswim pro, suunto’s attempt, JLab flex open, soundcore c40). The only drawback is I have a weirdly shaped right ear that is lower and as a result I have to position it just right or it slips. Noise reduction actually works ok for wha it is. It is not going to be as good as anc on over ears or in ears, but it helps a little in noisy environements. All in all, if these fit your ear they will be solid. Don’t expect to sound as good as the best in ear or over ears, but they are competitive with many headphones.

I’ve been using the Shokz OpenFit Pro for a couple of weeks now and honestly they’ve surprised me. These things are so comfortable — I can wear them all day without that ear-fatigue you get with in-ear buds. The open-ear noise reduction really does make a noticeable difference in busy environments without blocking your surroundings completely, which is wild for this design, and people generally can’t hear what I’m listening to. I also dig how clear and natural calls sound thanks to the triple-mic setup. That said, they still can’t compete with true in-ear ANC for total isolation, and on calls in windy or loud places I do wish the voice isolation was a bit tighter. Music and podcasts sound full and balanced for open buds, but if you’re after deep, immersive bass you’ll know the trade-off here. Overall, though, they hit a great sweet spot of comfort, situational awareness, and better-than-expected sound.

Finally, open fit earbuds I don't have to insert into my ear canal! I will use regular earbuds, but if I can avoid them, I would (I have a condition that I would produce quite a bit of ear wax), however any other over the ear or bone conducting ones I have tried on the past, didn't have that good sound quality. Not these guys. The sound quality is amazing, clear and don't leak much outside for people to listen to what you are. They come in a nice charging/carrying case (which can be charged wirelessly or via type C USB cable). Pairing was super easy, just opened the case and they were in pairing mode and paired with my phone. Downloading their app is recommended as they issue firmware updates there (there was one) and also you can further customize them. You can see their battery levels in the app, turn on or off noise reduction mode (kind of ANC) and it does work well, it does reduce outside noisy, however it does introduce a little bit of white noise in its default setting (you can tune it). You can also turn on Dolby audio head tracking (I find this one good for movies or games, but don't like it for music). You can also change sound modes (there is a privacy one in case you want more privacy and no one listening in). You can fully control them with the app, however each one have a little button you click for quick commands (like turn on or off noise canceling, volume up and down, answer and hang up calls etc.). I do like they support multipoint pairing, so I can have them paired to my phone and also to my computer (which does have Bluetooth). If you misplace them, the app will also help you locate them and it has smart wear detection, they will enable once you put them on your ear. Ear fit is great and they go around your ear lobes and the flat part just rests on top of your ear canal. By default the fit was great for me, but YMMV and so they include a couple of comfy silicone inserts to make them tighter if they are too lose for you. Sound quality is great, clear and great for not being inside the ear canals. These are my new favorite ones and I use them all the time, no more putting stuff inside my ear canals and goodbye to ear wax on my earbuds!!

Purchased mostly for working out at gym. In-ear earbuds always slowly slip out when sweaty and reduce the sound quality as it happens. Some (like Beats) have hooks or fins but sadly don't sound good enough imo (super picky about my music). After trying so many lately (Airpods pro 3, Bose, Beats, Soundcore, Earfun, Sony) I had settled on the Soundcore Sport X20 but even those did not stay secure enough during bench pressing and they lost sound quality while lying back. Recently upgraded to the Soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro and they are pretty amazing. Sound REALLY good and stay put! Was hoping for even a bit more incredible sound based on the reviews so I went with these, and while I have to agree the sound is pretty phenomenal...AND the fit is secure in the gym...the noise "reduction" is sadly not enough for the gym. The clanking, music, and other noises are way too audible even with the noise reduction on forcing me to turn up the music to dangerous levels. I REALLY wanted to love these, and in my house I thought for sure I'd found them, but at the gym they lost out to the $100 less Aerofit 2 Pros which have MUCH better noise cancelling and, for now, are the gym winners!! No qualms recommending these though if you don't need solid noise cancelling, as they are the most premium open style earbud I've ever heard!

These are the best open ear headphones I've used! Multipoint works fine, and the sound is great; way better than you would expect for open ear. The noise cancellation isn't as effective as in your in ear options, but it takes away the annoying edge from persistent environmental sounds. Great for drowning out office equipment droning. It's just enough to help you forget co-workers are talking in the background. They are also extremely comfortable to wear. Being from a cold climate, this is the first pair of headphones I can wear under my stocking hat securely.

I thought these headphones were pretty great! The sound is great and they stay on nicely during workouts except when you’re doing bench press or leaning over to do back extensions etc. they fall away from the ear and the music stops. I have several earrings in different places on my ear so I wanted something that didn’t touch them because they get so tender. The main reason I ultimately decided to return them is because the piece that goes behind the ear was too big and hit into my earring and it hurt too bad to wear them for long. If you don’t have earrings though, then this wouldn’t be an issue! I would recommend them for the average customer.

Best open ear headphones on the market. I previously had the open run pros and thought those were great until i got these. Shokz really knows how to get this open ear concept down. I use them often for bike rides and the gym. They stay on with no issue even during workouts with a lot of head movement. Also the sounds quality is amazing.
