When these headphones first came out, I purchased them and loved them so much. I bought them for all mine whole family. They are light and comfortable. Stay on your head during activities such as running. Can't go back to the other type of headphones. I love how I can listen to music and still hear what's going on in my environment.

These are amazing! I don't enjoy having earbuds in my ears (even just one) or over the ear headphones blocking out my environment. These are perfect, allowing me to listen to music, podcasts, and talking on the phone without blocking out the people and sounds in my life or having to remove the earbuds/headphones in order to interact with my environment. Lightweight too so you hardly know you are wearing them!

Outstanding comfort and excellent battery life. The sound is perfect for easy listening and audiobooks. I bought these for meditation and even find myself sleeping in them. Absolutely perfect. I have a friend who wears his all day with no discomfort.

First, let me say I already have a “main” pair of headphones: AirPods Pro 2. I bought this as my second paid of headphones for a specific use case: Exercise and for any time I wanted to be aware of my surroundings. It took a week or so for me to really get used to this new way of listening to music, podcasts, and audio books. Once I did, something stragne happened. I kept reaching for these headphones over my Air Pods Pro 2 (USB C). Going to the gym, I took these. Listening to podcast at work, I took these. Now the scales have switched and these are my “main” headphones and only gragging the airpods pro when I want noise cancellation. Don’t get me wrong, you will still want noise canceling headphones if flying or constantly trying to block out the sound around you. I find it way more comfortable not haivng something in my ear canals and have really grown to love these head phones. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them to anyone.

While I love them, they most certainly will not suffice for everyone. If you are looking for a headset that you can hear the world around you, there is nothing better than having nothing in your ear. If you are looking for clarity and\or volume, these are not for you. I use them in an environment where I am always wearing earplugs, which they are amazing for. They don't cancel out noise, so I can still hear if somebody needs to get my attention. In this situation, they can get very, almost uncomfortably loud. But as soon as the earplugs come out the volume is about 10% of that even at max volume. Don't plan on making phone calls in noisy environments at all unless you are wearing earplugs. Sure, the people you are talking to can hear you, but its hard to hear dialog\ voices with noise around you. If I'm going at anything near a good pace on my bicycle, I won't hear a word spoken. In conclusion, if you are buying them to be safe, you can't get much better than literally not having something in or over your ears. But remember, that's exactly what they are designed for, safety, not volume or clarity. If you are confused about the 5 stars after reading this, it's because they excel at what they are designed for. I don't expect more than that. Shokz did an excellent job with these.

I actually love the fact that you do not have to place anything inside of your ears due to iPad three ear surgeries but yet still need something to be able to listen to while working. Has long lasting battery time and you actually can keep up with them versus losing them

Definitley conducts in my bones. Has good sound while being able to hear everything else around you. Pros: quality sound, long battery life, easy charge, easy connection, feels fine on the ears, and easily transportable Cons: The charger is unique, so don't lose it. Not great when theres other loud noises around you All around a great, unique set of earphones.

These are way better than I was expecting them to be. I drive semi's all day and even with all the noise, the call quality is very clear for both parties. There are times where its so loud that I have to plug up one ear but even in this scenario the other person has no problem hearing me. I just wish these were adjustable in the back as they dont quite fit me just right. Its not like they are loose or anything, more of a preference if anything. The range on these with the battery life is amazing. I must have walked a good 400 Ft away and still never lost connection. but that was with line of sight.

Very nice especially if traditional earbuds fall out of your ears. Also really like the wire connecting the earbuds, it has the benefit of being able to take off your ears and rest around your neck.

I bought these to use in a factory environment where ear plugs are mandatory to wear at all times. These work great, the sound quality is decent, they're easy to use. The battery lasts a very long time and it charges extremely fast.

These headphones are so convenient for me. My ears are small and many of the earbud type headphones do not work for me. Other than that I find it uncomfortable putting things in my ears. But these headphones are so great that many times I forget I even have them on! I can wear them at the gym, around the house doing chores, while running errands and the best part yet is I can hear what's going around me also I'm not tuned out to my surroundings while I am enjoying my music or other audio media. I have found absolutely no complaint with these and I usually can find at least one thing to constructively criticize. Even the battery life is forgiving as many times as I've fallen asleep with these on. Great buy.

I have the regular open run pro already, the bigger size. I bought this for a friend because when she tried them for the first time, she fell in love with how you’re able to listen to music and being able to listen to your surroundings with out the comprise of a big loss of audio, obviously it won’t be the same as having your ear plugged up and closed but trust it’s a different (good) listening experience, great for workouts, for me skating around, and any type of physical activity, they also make a full water proof swimming version for all you swimmers out there… also I don’t just use them for working out but for work, out shopping, or getting groceries… great for voice calls as well, doesn’t sound like doo doo, unless your service is Hahha …

Shokz wins - safe, convenient, sound

This is my go to brand. Compared to any other Bluetooth earpiece, Shokz wins mainly because it does not block your ears but uses bone conduction and very low level audio. You can drive, jog, walk, ride a bike, really be anywhere, and be aware of everything around you including conversations to a limit depending. This is also way better than in ear versions that can cause hearing loss if you're not careful. Shokz has a model that is a bit better than this, which I've have had before, but you'd pay a little more of course. They're constantly improving technology, making them lighter and with better audio quality. My only caution is to not drop them from very high. A small drop is not a big deal, but higher drops can cause damage to the microphone.

Love Shokz for actual work (very lightweight) and working out/running. Good sound quality. Not much bass, but that's not why you'd be buying this set of headphones. Would buy another pair.

I've had 3 different generations of the Shokz headphone. These fit and feel the best of the ones I've worn over the last 5 years. The sound quality is better in these as well, however, the volume is much lower. In a quiet setting the sound is richer and the bass is deeper, but if there's much outside noise (cars while walking, machine noise in the gym, folks talking in the store) the headphone get drowned out. I miss quite a bit of the audio when there's competing noise, and did not have a significant of an issue with older models. If the volume were the same as past generations, I'd give them a 5.

These are fantastic! They are very light, fit snugly over the ears, but the sound emitters sit over the bone in front of your ears. I am able to listen to music and make and receive cellphone calls in crystal clarity.

Prices of those have continually increased. Despite a reduction in overall value they are more waterproof, have slightly longer battery life and sound quality is nominally improved and connectivity is better. The max volume does not seem as loud as previous versions though.
