Almost excellent, except...
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: light like few grams, I can use them almost non stop. Perfect sound quality. Good bass. Much better than in ear or over the ear headphones. Good for phone calls. Great for running outside not inside the gyn due to open design. Cons: because it's using magnetic conduction design, I didn't know about side effect of technology. I used this headphones like at least 2-3 hours per day, sometimes 5-6hrs. So, now I have a static noise in ears, worst gets when I go to sleep, it gets hard to go to sleep. Conclusion: I think they are awesome, but you have to limit your daily use like up to an hour. I also only 32 years old healthy man.

The Real Deal with a Small Issue
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely perfect for sports with one minor drawback. They're kinda quiet. To be fair, no quieter really than in-ear headphones including my Sony and Bose noise canceling ones, but I wish there was a way to boost upper limit -- phones have a broad safety margin to avoid hearing damage, but that means that Audiobooks can be tough to hear while running or cycling. I wonder if Shokz App could maybe act as a workaround for that limit? It's noticeable especially on low frequency sounds, so male audiobook narrators are quieter than females while you're out and about. Indoors, with no wind, there's zero problem -- the bone conduction sounds like regular ear canal audio and the fidelity is perfectly good. Easy to clean, love the magnetic charging cable and cheap clone cables are available on Amazon for spares.

Comfortable fit and sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this is the most comfortable headset. The Bluetooth range connects very well throughout my entire house with little to no interference. No static. Battery life is good. No pain in ears or jawbone. Sound is as expected for bone conduction headphones. I honestly can not hear my family talk to me unless I have the volume extremely low. There is an app that is downloadable that allows to set the headsets to toggle between voice or music. I do love that I do not have to bother with ear buds falling out or over the ear headphones.

Good for Certain Occasions
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good concept and great design feel. Will not blow you away with sound quality. It does what it’s supposed to do, give you a source for audio while still allowing you to be keyed in on what’s going on around you. Think more background music to whatever you are doing, instead of being immersed in the audio like normal headphones. I use this headset while riding my motorcycle and wearing a half helmet. It’s barely audible at higher speeds and the person on the other end of a phone call says it sounds like I’m in a wind tunnel. But, it lets me communicate when I get a phone call and also have music playing while still hearing my bike and the noises of the road.

Around the head vs earphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a bose fanatic for years and had other brands. Earbuds fall out of ears so the my only choice is these Shokz. Today i wore them on bart and the quality is garbage. Once i walked in regular environment it was fine. I dont know if its me, but sometimes i get my side burn hair pulled.i wish someone could come out with an around the neck noise canceling. I love my bose quiet 30.

Definitely recommend!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a carrier for the post office. I’m always on the street walking through neighborhoods. I always have to be aware of dogs and cars when crossing the street. It’s always great to have music or an audio book playing and traditional headphones drown out to much of what’s going on around me. With these I can have music or whatever playing and still hear what’s going on around me. Definitely one of my favorite purchases and definite if your a carrier!!

Great product.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fit is a little loose and can’t be adjusted other than putting a ponytail in my hair and setting the back part above it. Sound is great, rich bass, equalized well. EZ button use. Really fast charge to full. Like 2-3 hours. Plays constantly for like 10 hours. Works as directed, doesn’t impair my hearing at all unless I turn the volume very loud, and even though it’s bone induction, it can still be very loud so watch your levels. Because while it might not hurt your inner ear, it can still be loud enough to drown out other sounds which defeats the purpose. Otherwise sounds come in very crisp and clear, Great quality, and doesn’t bother with the outside world sounds

Absolutely LOVE these.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a person who suffers from internal ear malformation of the eardrum, these works great for me. They also help me with hearing over the ringing of the tinnitus I have as a side effect of the internal hearing issues. I tried these right away and have had no issues with them. A lot of people say the vibration on the bone is too much for them, but I don't even notice it. I only wish I had found these earlier, instead of the air-pods I was using (which kept falling out of my ear). I can go to sleep with these on without issues.

Niche Usability.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They do what they say they do, but I think they fit a niche group of people. They aren't good in even somewhat noisy places. Phone calls are possible but a pain. However for exercising in relatively quiet places and if you really don't like stuffing things into your ears, they work quite well and seem durable. FYI, I returned them

My new every day driver pair of headphones.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was tired of ear buds, and the fact certain types would fall out my ears. It had me ready to give up and resign myself to not being able to use ear buds while being active. These however changed everything. The sound quality isn’t as sharp as some of them out there. What it lacks in sound it makes up for in functionality. If you haven’t tried these sorts of headphones, you should give them a try. Just don’t expect top sound quality out of these you won’t get iy

Durable and unobtrusive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with the Shokz - OpenRun Pro. At first I was concerned the wrap around the back of my head would be too distracting. Now I put them on and don't realize they are there. I like the fact that they do not interfere with ambient voices or other sounds I would need to pay attention to. As a bike rider, it's important to hear any automobile that is getting close, or too close. They are of good quality and seems they be durable.

Comfortable for long use and safe for exercising
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro: - Very comfortable, can wear those for long time. - Stay very secure around your hear. No risk to fall when exercising. - Sound is pretty good considering they are not in hear or over the heart. - Can hear what's happen around you. I feel a lot more secure when exercising outdoor compare to standard headphones. Cons: - Proprietary cable to power. - Battery life is average, the advertising 10 hours is a bit optimistic. In conclusion: That type of headphones is a very welcome addition to standard headphones. They are not good for every situation (on a plane for example) but for exercise or long meeting, they are awesome.

Great purchase even at full price
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best headset I've ever had! I listen to music all day at work and can still chat with people in person while wearing them. They're also great for hands-free phone calls. The battery life is impressive – it lasts more than a day and a half on a single charge. They're very comfortable once you get used to them. Sometimes, I even wear them to bed. Plus, they fully recharge in just about an hour.
