They appreciate the clear and immersive sound, comfortable and secure fit, long battery life, ability to hear their surroundings, lightweight design, and innovative bone conduction technology. Shokz bone conductive headphones great!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have sensory issues due to TBI. These headphones allows me to push out outside noise. (Echos loud distracting music crowd noise etc). Outside noise becomes distant background allowing my selecred playlists to be in the forefront aiding me in focusing on conversations better. i am able to share space and some events that I was unable to share before. Sounds counterintuitive but this is my very real experience. Besides this great benefits the quality of sound is superior to my other headphones. I also like that they are discreatly worn. So when i wear them in public places it doesn’t seem odd. Try them and see for yourself. Charge lasts allday even while continuously using.

Great open-eear headphones!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shokz OpenRun Pro! Pretty good pair of headphones for anyone that isn't into noise-cancelling headphones and wants to also hear ambient noise. Having owned two other pairs, the AfterShokz Aeropex & Aeropex Mini, I definitely love the OpenRun Pro headphones. When it comes to audio quality, it isn't audiophile grade like my Audio-Technica R70x open back cans. However, sound quality is very good and comes through easily in low noise environments. If you are outdoors or in noisier environments, you'll have to bump the volume a bit higher. One thing I loved about the OpenRun Pro vs the Aeropex & Aeropex Mini is that when listening at higher volumes, the OpenRun Pros produces less haptic vibrations and isn't as hard on my tragus (outer ear), meanwhile the quality isn't sacrificed. Battery life is great, and I got quite close to the 10 hours listed. Standby time is also great, as I was able to go 2 days listening to ~4.5 hours of music each day. Wearing these while being active is no issue. I've worn these while playing tennis and running, and they stay in place very well. The fit on the OpenRun Pro is also quite nice, and I didn't have to stretch them out on my yoga block like I did with my Aeropex & Aeropex Mini. The weight is also unnoticeable, and there wasn't any ear fatigue I experienced. I am able to wear these all day without having any issues regardless of what I'm doing. The only thing I would nag about is that the OpenRun Pros don't have next/previous controls. Having used Shokz/AfterShokz headphones for quite some time now, was hoping this newer iteration of their bone conduction headphones would provide that functionality. The inconvenience of having to go for my phone/tablet to change tracks gets quite irritating :( Though the OpenRun Pros lack certain playback controls, it is still quite a great pair of headphones. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking into open-ear headphones or headphones in general!

Better than the original
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are very similar to the original bine conducting headphones with minor modifications. The only drawback is the magnetic charging port. The charger is unique only to this headset & very short so if you lose it, it's destroyed or forgotten on a trip, you can't easily get a replacement. It also doesn't reach from charger to the top of a table. It needs an adapter or a longer cord & some way to easily get additional charging cords. Otherwise, this set has better sound quality, range, battery life & more easily manipulated buttons than the original. Would definitely purchase again.

Shokz are shockingly great!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the absolute best headphones i have ever owned. The sound quality is great, they have a long battery life. But as with all Shokz headphones, they allow you to be outside and still hear your surroundings. I recommend these to everyone I meet, mainly for safety reasons. I see people jogging with noise cancelling headphones and they have no idea what is going on around them, These also look cool and you can wear them all day with no ear fatigue.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe I’m just getting old, but I was getting tired of having ear buds inside my ears and not being able to hear anything else.. These are awesome. The sound is good and I can still be aware of what is around me especially wile running or biking outdoors. And they stay in place during activities.

Works great but a few flaws
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These were on sale and I figured I could use them while I am working, so people can still talk to me while I am at my computer. The fit is pretty good and the sound is great. I do have a few complaints about them. First, the charger is proprietary which makes it difficult to charge unless you constantly carry the cord around. The good thing is the case has a spot for the cable. Second, there is only one side button. I constantly reach up to the right side to play/pause but there is nothing there. It is annoying, but not major. The major issue I have is when I go to turn off the headphones, using the Volume Up button, the next time I turn on the headphones it causes the volume to be raised. I like the volume at a certain level so it is annoying when I turn these back on and the volume is higher than expected. A simple update should be able to fix that. Overall, the issues are minor and I am enjoying using these. I do wish they made a larger version so I can rest them around my neck when not in use, but that is getting nit-picky.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good headphones. This coupled with the fact that it is very lightweight makes it great for going on runs or exercising outdoors.

Excellent hardware, disappointing software
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these as have found myself in an open office situation. I need to be able to hear others as well as my phone, but still be able to listen to music, news etc. I am blown away with these. While its not exactly audiophile level, sound is good. They are very comfortable & I can wear them all day with no issues. The hard case is very much worth having as well. These do have an associated app which is where my praise ends. As much as the hardware is a 10, I think a 3 for the software is generous. Unlike my Jabra 7's which can be paired to 6 devices and can connect to 2 simultaneously, these can only connect to 2 and used individually. Connecting is often hit-and-miss and sometimes requires opening the app to connect. If my phone is distant & disconnects I have to restart the headphones to connect. Bottom line is that these are awesome but the software I feel should be much better for this price range. Still worth having though.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good headphones, battery does laster longer than my Apple earbuds. They are light, sometimes you forget they are on your head. Does not fall off. I have two pairs the openmove and openrun, I keep one at work and one at home.

“Perfect for Daily Use — Light, Clear, and Cool"
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Shokz Open Pro for a while now, and honestly, I didn’t expect to like them this much. The open-ear design felt strange at first, but once you get used to it, you realize how comfortable and practical it actually is. You don’t get that “ear blocked” feeling, and you can still hear what’s happening around you — perfect for walking, running, or even taking calls while multitasking. The sound quality is way better than what I expected from bone-conduction type headphones. The bass is surprisingly good, voices are crisp, and I’ve had zero issues on calls. In fact, people on the other end say the mic clarity is excellent, even outdoors. Battery life is another big plus. I charge it once and easily get through several days of use. The fit is super light, and after a few minutes you literally forget you're wearing them. If you’re someone who wants comfort, awareness, and really solid audio without sticking anything inside your ears, this is one of the best options out there. I’ve tried regular earbuds, but nothing beats the convenience and comfort of these. Overall, totally worth it

Slap a soundtrack on the world
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic performance provided your expectations are reasonable. You won't hear every detail in your audio, especially in noisy places, but that's kinda the point - to hear your surroundings and your media. Mic is decent enough for calls, and they're comfortable enough to wear all day (although the band can get in the way of sunglasses).

Alternative to painfull earbuds.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic alternative to painfull earbuds. These rest on the side of your ear and transmit amazing sound through your upper cheekbone nearest your ear. Your won't believe the clarity and richness of the sound.

Can't Be Any Happier!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Shokz... also have an Opencomm which I use for work. I've gone through a lot of different headsets/earphones/earbuds and Shokz is the brand I'm happiest with. One charge lasts me a whole day without recharging. I bought the Openrun Pro for outside activities because it's not as noticeable as the Opencomm. Sound quality is slightly richer in the Openrun Pro than the Opencomm (but since the Opencomm is for work it's sound quality isn't really that important for me). Best of all, since my ears are not covered, my situational awareness is not as compromised as when I'm wearing earbuds/earphones.
