Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the sound quality, comfort, battery life, open-ear design, fit, bone conduction, and lightweight features of the OpenRun Pro Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Sport Headphones. They appreciate the clear and immersive sound, comfortable and secure fit, long battery life, ability to hear their surroundings, lightweight design, and innovative bone conduction technology. On the other hand, customers are negative about the volume, bass, price, connectivity, and microphone. They feel the volume could be louder, the bass is lacking, the price is high, the connectivity is unstable, and the microphone could be improved for better call quality.

Lightweight and easy pairing. Only drawback is the case. Its bulky and larger than my purse. This is my 2nd one and lost both pair. Due to laying them down without the case.

This is a fabulous product. When using these "ears" I never miss a word. I love that it doesn't go into my ears but sits in front of my ears, sending all that I hear as vibration through the bone. GREAT product.

These are the best headphones I have ever bought. My ears are too small for some like airpods, but these are super comfy and work amazingly. The sound quality is also top notch.

These have been fantastic. I have to turn the volume up quite a bit since I am around conveyer belts, but they have good sound quality, and the call quality is amazing. No one even knows I'm using a headset. I want the Open Run Pro 2s, but these are still going strong.

I wear these for working out. I find earbuds uncomfortable, and my high-end over-the-ear headphones too heavy. The sound of these are strongest in the mid-range and vocals, with lows and highs suffering. Sound is good, but not excellent. However, when working out I don't notice it, so it's fine. These are not my high end headphones and that is ok. Also, when walking outside I really can still hear traffic around me, which is a perk. Overall very happy with these given my use case. It would be nice if the charger was not a proprietary connector however.

Great for an outdoor environment where hearing your surroundings is key for safety. These fit great even while wearing a bike helmet and sunglasses. Can hear music well even with wind noise at speed.

Better fit/comfort than expected. Battery life seems to be as expected, at least based on the statement upon turning on. Easy to wear with sunglasses and/or a hat. Works great w/ an Apple Watch!

I wear these daily at the office and love them. Using them for meetings or listening to music, never an issue. Used about 14 hours of non stop use and still had time left.

I bought them when this color was on sale. I wear glasses and they don't interfere with them or feel weird. It's nice when I'm outside since I can still hear my surroundings. I listen to music and the sound quality is very good

Bought these to use for walking and exercise, very comfortable design when on the go. Love that they do not go directly into the ears but still sound excellent. Also great for hands free phone calls.

Great sound without the annoyance of plugs feeling like they are about to fall out or the issue of plugs pushing ear wax further into the ear causing pain. They maintain the charge for quite a while and charge very quickly.

Really good open ear phones. Very light weight and good sound quality. It is so light that you don't feel like you have it. I have recommended it to my friends and planning to purchase one more for my wife.

Reading the comments about these headphones on how they lack some juice. I don’t know what they are looking for but these are not in ear headphones and they get the job done. For what they are meant for they do far more than expected. Bass quality is meh but it’s expected for a bone conduction headphone. Great headphones to wear when you want to hear what’s going on around you. Crowd noice will drown out what you are listening to but if you don’t want that to happens you should wear in ear noice canceling headphones. Overall 10/10 for these headphones, worth the buy and super comfortable.

Works well. The default setting for music does not work as well with podcasts, my primary use. I was able to change the setting by setting up an account and logging in to the Shokz app. Some podcasts are apparently recorded differently than others and the sound works better. Of course, you can't have sound isolation, but that is safer for driving. I like that I can be hiking on the trail and exchange greetings without needing to stop my podcast, but I can stop it and have a conversation if I want, without removing my earphones. I have not tested the claims of how long the charge will last. I found that if it is safe to do so, and what you are listening to has the right sound dynamics, you can put earplugs in and the sound is even louder. The instructions say that the spoken word mode focuses more of the mid-range. It is true that listening to the spoken word in the default (music) mode seems to result in the bass overpowering other ranges and making it difficult to hear male voices clearly. I would order these again.

A great concept but poorly executed. I love the bone conducting technology and have used the technology in both personal and professional app;ications. These work marginally. These have the limited bluetooth technology of bluetooth devices three generations old. The button cannot be programmed and only answers calls, hangs up calls, starts and pauses music or books. There is no ability to activate speech commands, AI interfaces, or other simple tasks. They do not auto mute when you start taclking like mose modern earbuds do. These randomly stop for no reason. They will stay on but just stop whatever application you are using. Tapping the button will restart music, which is fine, unless you were listening to a podcast or a book. It just defaults to your default music source. These are not loud. Keep them at full volume at all times unless you are sitting in a library. The ambiient sound on a public bus is enough to drown these out. I have Bose sunglasses with bone conducting technology and I can hear them far better. These do not support other technologies I have found in othher devices, such as silencing the ringer on my phone when connected and annnouncing the calller ID so I dont have to try to look at my phone in bringht daylight. There is no case charging, nor is there an inductive charging ooption. Make sure you bring along the specific-to-this-device-only magnetic cord. Lastly, the head band thing around the back of your head. I wanted the extended battery life of this model, and unfortunately that meant a head band thing. Non-adjustable headband thing. It sits one inch off the back of my head. Wearing a jacket with a collar (think Carhartt jacket) and the collar interferes with the device, knocking it from your head. Until these "Premium" devices develop some premium features to match their premium pricetag, avoid them. Current earbuds are a much better value and price.
