Over the last few months I have noticed that my outter ears have become very irritated when using my AirPods (very uncomfortable). It was now time for a change. Knowing that these large bulky over ear headphones were not for me I did some research and found Shokz Bone Conduction Earphones. This product is light weight and extremely comfortable as they do not go into your ears. I use them primarily for music and I must say that it might not sound like your in a concert venue but the sound is crisp, clear with really good base. Very happy with my new Shokz.

I don't know how the battery is worse than previous versions considering they are so light that a few more ounces for a better battery would be unnoticeable. Also, the band that goes around the back of the head is so flimsy I had to repair my last one until I got my new set. Definitely a deep design flaw that when fixed with a longer lasting battery would make this unbeatable. Why do modern businesses not ever listen to the customers? These have been known issues for years.

As I mainly wear them at work as an IT tech having the ability to zone out while working is a god send as I can also hear if someone needs me it's an amazing mix plus I don't have to worry about ruining my hearing. I will say don't get these if your trying to shut the world out as you will definitely be able to still hear. Now the biggest con I can think of is the rumble when the volume of the song is too high it will cause the headset itself to shake and that is slightly uncomfortable and a bit of an inconvenience but overall a great Bluetooth headset that leaves you with open ears.

The first is the battery life. With consistent use, it lasts about 4 to 6 hours. That is too little for my liking. The 2nd is the sound quality. It really misses out on the bass. The 3rd is comfort. After wearing for about an hour, the tops of my ears start to hurt.
