Expensive, but quality headphones

Nothing to compare them to, but pretty decent in my opinion. Sound lacks bass, but that's as expected. Want to use for swimming, but haven't been able to get a hold of any MP3s (or the like). Not as easy as it once was. Battery life seems pretty good. Overall, happy with the purchase, but just wondering if a (much) cheaper pair would have sufficed.
