Excellent game, love the shovel knight (series). Good throwback genre

Not much to say for a digital game, the redeem code got to me quickly. Haven't actually played the game much :p

This is classic nostalgia fun. If you grew up loving nes games then this is right up your alley!

Shovel Knight is a great modern game that has mastered disguising it’s self as retro action platforms. It’s a must have for gamers of all kinds and with this version on the switch you get the complete package. All DLC is included as well as co-op so you can play on the couch with a friend.

Fun indie game and platformer. It plays great on handheld mode.

Includes all 4 main games, plus so much more. All main characters have their own unique move set. My personal favorite is Plague Knight who can float and throw bombs. His story is also very charming. Don't sleep on this game, just buy it!

It is john at alright. Too easy until you reach a boss then too hard. I appreciate the throwback look and feel but it does not live up to the hype I have heard.

I played a little bit of this game on Wii U and loved it! But I had only rented it... When I heard it was coming out for Switch on a physical cartridge, I couldn’t wait!! It’s an awesome platformer adventure game, and I definitely recommend it!

I first played the original on the Wii u and decided to get it another along with the other titles that came out on during . Over all not disappointed and it's a old school game with a fresh fill that not many developers could pull off.

Fantastic game. I’m not that good at platformers, but this game was the perfect balance between hard and do-able. I died almost 200 times but I still had a blast. 100% reccomend if you like retro platformers.

+ Visuals + Gameplay + Tons of Content - While the battle mode proved to be fun, it felt a bit half baked.

Some years after the initial release of Shovel Knight the treasure trove may be one of the best deals in gaming. So much content that's all killer and no filler.

This game is a lot of fun and I realized it by watching it from my friend play after I saw this interesting graphics fun play ability and just enjoying video games the way that one should or in this case. so I highly recommend this video game For anybody who is looking to have a great time especially the play on the nintendo switch. This is not one of those games you bye and that you regret in my opinion I enjoy it

My kids absolutely love this game, they're 10 and 7, reminds me a lot of old school CastleVania... it's fun, fairly repetitive. But they'll play it for hours if I let them.

Not sure why I waited so long to finally play Shovel Knight but this game is great! Not your average pixel art game trying to cash in on nostalgia, this game sets the bar for the genre. Good stuff.

I've only played for a few hours so I can't speak to the entirety of the game. I can say I'm not a huge fan of stages. I'd much rather see everything be a big 2d world that you explore. I think it's more immersive that way. If you have the money/know how, you can mod your joycons and replace the buttons at the bottom with a d-pad and omg does it make all the difference in platformers. It's amazing.
