I had a Snowball microphone that was decent for the price but I decided my stupid YouTube videos needed something better. I went for the SM7b first and it didn't capture my voice as well as I wanted it to. I have a pretty deep voice and it just didn't sound right. This did, right off the bat. It gives me exactly what I want and really does a great job of eliminating ambient sound. My room isn't soundproof whatsoever and you can barely tell with this. Believe the hype. Just get this one.

I bought this to record a podcast and after one recording I’ve seen the difference. I was skeptical of the USB connection, but it really does work. I haven’t tried it with an XLR yet but it already is a five out of five.

This mic has been everything i expected plus more! I went in pretty hesitant because there were mixed reviews, but the desktop app works for me and the sound quality coming out of the mic is AMAZING! Definitely has taken my podcast quality to the next level! I highly recommend

I have this mic hooked up to my Scarlett 2i2 audio interface, works great and barely picks up background noises. I tried via USB connection as well, works nice with the app but I like the connection via my interface, easier for me to tweak.

Very pleased with this purchase. Super easy to assemble and the sound quality was more than I expected. The microphone that I didn't know I needed and now I can't imagine working without them.

The quality of this Mic is fantastic for podcasting. My only issue was the ease of set up. I was on FaceTime with the sound engineer from my podcast company for over three hours to get this mic set properly and working. In addition, everytime I log into my computer and connect it, there seems to be an issue with the Shure app (which is a terrible app btw)

Quality is good, style. Sound, offers you USB & xlr. But it’s kinda expensive.

This is the definition of a studio quality microphone. If you intend to record high end audio, this is the mic for you. If you want to talk to friends on Discord, stick with something like a Blue Yeti, the audio quality will be unnoticable in most voice chat programs.

I've bought two of these already and going to buy another. I've always had issues with poor mic quality through gaming headsets as well as using Yeti mics. This is the first mic that has great sound right out of the box and their software isn't bloated (or required).
