Sure its fairly expensive, however its WELL worth the price and theres a reason every podcaster and streamer uses it. This is the end game microphone for everyone.

One of the best mics you can get for podcasting or streaming. a ton of pro level gamers, podcasters and streamers use this mic including asmongold, joe rogan etc. It will need a good interface or cloud lifter to power it fully.

'Upgraded' to this from a AT 2020 and the sound quality is very noticable. Price wise I am not sure how worth it is since the quality difference may not be noticible to everyone.

I probably went overboard with my audio set up, but I can’t complain at all. Amazing sound quality and very easy to use (once you get all the parts). Highly recommend getting a gain booster too.

After six months of daily use, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny—but only if you have the right gear to go with it. If you’re serious about streaming, podcasting, or professional recordings, the SM7B is one of the best investments you can make.

One of the best dynamic mics for vocals! If you can't get a good sound out of the SM7B, it is either your voice is not as you think or your preamp is not good enough.

You get what you pay for. Really high quality at a cost but definitely worth the expense. If you have the money, definitely recommend

[Employee of bestbuy] The SM7B has such clear audio, its crazy. I used it with a RodeCaster Pro II and came from the AT-2020. It really changed everything and got rid of the reverb and echos I had in previous mics. I went from hating my voice to loving it.

Previous mic was a hyperX quad cast; it was good but this is an entirely different beast and rightfully so. $400 is not cheap, but hey if you make videos and want to make the "highest quality content and settle for nothing but the best then why not".

This is one of the kings of all microphones need I say more? Okay I guess I can say a little bit, you absolutely need a mic preamp or a cloud lifter with at lease plus 20 decibel boost to take advantage of this mic... it is a very power hungry mic and needs a lot of gain. But once you get that taken care of it will treat you well the rest of your life. It's built like a tank.

It is just like any other mic where you do have to tweak it a little bit to get it where you want, but right out the box it sounds great!

Excellent microphone. I purchased with a Wave XLR and cloudlifter. This mic is good if you have knowledge of how to EQ and utilize post processing. I scooped a little bit out of the mids and raised the highs, also activated the presence boost. This mic really does sound amazing and I’ve gotten compliments on it from clients
