I had played Sid’s Civilization when I had my PS3 and really enjoyed it. Once i Got rid of my PS3 this was probably the only game that I had missed playing. Now I have an XBOX 1 and when I saw this was one sale, I jumped to get it, This game is a lot of fun and it really is all about strategy. Who will you be an ally with and who are you willing to take out if you don’t have your demand met. This game is very long because you literally start from the early era to the newly modern times. I prefer this version rather than the PC version because the control are so much easier. Again this is is all about strategy and may seem repetitive at times, so I don’t recommend it for a kid as they might get bored easily. Overall very fun game!!

Civilization VI improves on previous game concepts adding in more governance features and gameplay. For example, spies can do a large variety of espionage, including all kinds of sabotage, essential to stop other civs from winning the space race and developing nuclear weapons. The DLC is not included in this Xbox edition and the digital expansion DLC bundle costs as much as the base game. Having played both, the base game is made to be played with the expansions, which add in things like climate change and earth changes (natural disasters from volcanoes, etc). The city 'loyalty' features, with Governors that can level, brings this game on par with other modern 4k games like Stellaris. Overall great game, but DLC should have been included because it feels like it's incomplete without it.

The previous Civilization for Xbox was much more user friendly. This version has all new controls and a HUGE learning curve. Other than that it is classic fun.

The game so far has been fun and a challenge. Time killer for sure. I’m interested in the expansion packs, but definitely waiting til they’re on sale.

You have to be a fan of this type of game. Hours and hours can be put into this. Step up from previous versions. Previous versions less complicated

So this game is amazing and addicting. I literally started playing it and it was noon, next thing I knew it was midnight and I still hadn't finished making nukes. Crazy good game. I didnt even get to eat that day. So if you have a ridiculous amount of time to kill and dont mind nearly getting broken up with for not responding to your girlfriend all day, then this is your game!

I purchased this game while it was on sale. I wanted the digital copy but you can't beat $15 for a game so I snagged the physical disc. It plays well on the xbox and I have put a tremendous amount of hours into it already. The only things negative that I have to say about the game are that the DLC (which seems rather cool and like something I would want to buy) are expensive, and the game will start to freeze up slightly with too many saves or late in a game.

It is good strategy game. It is take long time. It is normal to hard to figure out.

I've played every version of this game on a PC and was excited to see it now on Xbox. Took a while to figure out the controls, but is a fun game niw that I know what to do.

I have been waiting for Civilization to come to console and I wasnt disappointed. Classic Civilization game. Love it

It has problems, but I can’t get to the Geek Guys during the pandemic. I keep getting a message the controller is disconnected. I hit the A button and all is well. However it won’t be long and it repeats. Often it gives a message that I left without saving, but I have not left. Is there any help available during the pandemic? I also need help with my surface pro.

Its fine. A little over complicated and not as fun as the games before but it’s definitely a civ game and after you get used to it it’s alright. Definitely a good time waster but overpriced for what it offers.

This game is really fun and challenges me to be strategic

I’m a huge fan of the CIV franchise. This game had potential, but the constant glitches drive me nuts. Only giving 3 stars because of Best Buy’s great service. Rarely a problem which is why I shop here.

This game is just like the PC version. Controls take a little bit of getting used to but it's not bad. The graphics are excellent, lots of cut scenes from ambassadors. The AI is smart, expect sneak attacks from neighbors, especially if you are a little behind militarily. Overall a good game that will easily give 20+ hours of game time

As a huge fan of Civilization Revolution, I was anxious to try out this version. This game took a base of Civilzation Revolution and expanded exponentially on. Each of cultures have much more complexity, and the game has much more depth. If you enjoy complex strategy games, this is the game for you.

I enjoy this game it is not so much eye hand exercise as the other platforms as it is a great exercise for your brain no matter what your intellect it will help your thought process.

I read the reviews, if this is as good as Civilization Revolution then i will be happy great Black Friday sale price.

I got this on PC and console and I've enjoyed this version. I feels like a Civ game, which was a huge effort from the dev team in replicating this version as compared to the PC...loving it.

This game is VERY in depth. That's a nice way of saying complicated. However, I enjoy sim-type games. I'm sure once I figure this game out, it will occupy many hours of my life.
