Best. Civ. Ever.

This iteration of civilization is the best yet. It feels so complete. Normally my first game involves me thinking things like "man, once they fix the tourism system" or "once they balance religion" or "once they add *insert anything* in the next expansion". However, with this one, I don't feel like I'm waiting on an expansion to make the game complete. It has all my favorite features from previous versions and some new improvements that take it from awesome to perfect.

I have logged more hours on CIV V that I care to admit. CIV VI is no different. It's a captivating turn base game. The first patch is out that address some of my minor gripes with it. After the turns get adjusted I believe it'll be right up there with CIV V.

If you are a fan of civilization games it is a must. Not the easiest games to step into if you are new to the series, but if you are into strategy games with a historic twist it is perfect.

This edition adds lots of complexity factors from past versions: religion, spies, trade routes, city-state relations, etc.
All that complexity makes it fun even without military conquest. Military is still important, but not the only focus.

It is a very challenging game, but also super addicting! It takes some time to get the hang of it... but the more you play the more it makes sense. I can't tell you how many hours I have spent playing this already! My husband likes it too!

The game is good and a definite improvement over the previous one, but the art style takes a while to get used to if you come from Civ 5. Also, this comes with a steam code.

I love how it shows why each city is unhappy and what you need to build to increase happiness and growth, makes it easier to manage cities. Gameplay easier to learn especially for those new to Civilization. Love this game!

They have changed a lot for the better and it takes awhile to get used but once you do it's great fun. I also love that I got it for only $47 because of GamersClub! Activated through steam just like the last few Civs.

Civ VI is different and I highly advise watching YouTube videos on the top 10 changes to get accustomed.
Pros: Unique changes that make the game fun and really have you planning new cities due to geography.
Cons: Game is still not fully developed and the developers are rolling out DLC's to make extra money for the same game that should have been done when initially released.
I waited until December to buy it and played it for a couple of weeks. Now I have stopped and waiting awhile for all the DLC's to come out and then buy 1 package instead of multiple $9.99 DLC's every month.

Civ 6 is the best launch civilization game in a long time. It is the game that has had the most content at launch compared to other games. It still has issues but it is very addicting and fun.

Great turn based game. Time will go by before you know it. May not work on older systems due to graphic card requirements, so be sure to verify your system meets the minimum requirements.

I'm a huge fan of turn based strategy games and played almost all of the iterations of Civilization across multiple platforms (PC, game consoles, and mobile apps). This has become my favorite version of the series. It took a while to understand the dynamics of the districts and how to place them effectively, but it adds a depth to the game and is a great example of how this game is played on many different levels. I'm probably 50 hours in and have focused on domination victories, but look forward to changing my style of play to explore the other ways of winning (cultural, faith, diplomatic, etc.). If you're a fan of the series, you won't be disappointed.

Great game but have been away from series for too long - too many changes since I played it last. Guess I am too nostalgic about it, but not the games fault. New to the series or stayed kept up with it, great game, coming back from an older version, may not be for you.

I've been playing Civilization games since the first installment. It has the same feeling but has more depth that makes it feel like a new game. Good luck learning the new mechanics.

The quality of this game is great. So far I haven't had any issues but it does have a higher learning curve than Civilization V.
