Not so easy to figure out

Instead, the device is more of a ‘Universal’ remote which can be programmed to act as a TV remote (power, volume, channels, etc). Not what I needed.

My sound bar and Blu-ray player also would not. Don’t waste your money. Go in and get one of the universal remotes that work with the items you need. I returned this item a few days later.
