This thing will let you you program it to control IR anything. I use my sideclick to control my TV mute, power, input select. I use the same sideclick to control another TV power and my Apple TV remote controls volume. Overall I have my sidecick with Apple TV remote inserted set up to control 3 different non-Apple TV devices that include Two TVs and a sound bar. All using the 8 sideclick buttons. Regardless of the picture on the button they can be programmed to do anything. You could make each button turn on a different piece of your home theater if you needed. All you do is point the remote you want to copy control setting from at the SideClick and BAM! The instructions are quite clear if you follow them.

works well, it was easy to program the buttons, the only thing is that it does seem to be slippery for one-handed use, but it's not so bad in a way that it's unusable. i would recommend to the makers, a little rubber grip on the bottom.

Works very well for such a simple device. It probably could have used one more programmable button, but otherwise a good product. My only concern is the sturdiness, if it will last over time, some bits are already a bit loose... but it has taken a beating getting dropped here and there. Also, it would be nice if they could figure out a way to make it a bit thinner, it's quite thick. Small complaints overall, it's a good device at a good price.

I like the Sideclick. It makes the Apple TV remote a little bigger so it is easier to find and harder to lose. It was easy and fast to program. Nice to have one remote for the TV and Apple TV.

I was expecting a lot more than it actually was. It makes the Apple TV remote unwieldy. Maybe I expected to much. Tried pairing... took forever.... Works as a basic remote.

Great Apple TV remote holder and universal remote all in one combo. If you hate turning on your tv and using the Apple TV remote to scroll. You can do both at the same time. Comes with batteries. range is very good. only downside is that you need the original remote to program it. other than that, it is a great all in one solution for the Apple TV remove.

Great to use. I don't have to have my TV remote out anymore. Exceeded my expectations because you can customize each of the buttons. Great product! would buy again for my second apple tv.

This device makes the AppleTV remote much easier to use...and add universal remote features like power, inputs, mute, and volume. Now I only use 1 remote instead of 3. Love it!

Setup is painless and over in seconds. Takes care of simple TV functions so I no longer need multiple remotes to turn it on, adjust volume, switch inputs, etc.

The biggest benefit to this is adding some much needed bulk to the Apple remote. It seems like a lot to pay to not have to fish the apple remote out of the couch but if your coach is like mine you will understand. The additional buttons could prove to be very useful as well depending on what kind of set up you have (Receiver, etc),

Not only does this give you a universal remote for my TV and soundbar, it also doubles the size of the Apple TV remote, making it harder to lose.

This works great, it also adds bulk to the Apple TV remote . It makes it much easier to find and it doesn’t slip into nowhere land in the couch.

Programmed this to turn on my speaker bar and now I can do everything I need to with this remote. Compact, easy to use, nice addition to the AppleTV controller.

It's a bit clunky but it works well. I got this because my tv cannot turn on with just the Apple TV remote. It's fairly easy to program the Sideclick with an IR remote. If there's any issues, the Sideclick customer services is very prompt and helpful.

Takes a little time to set up and the instructions aren't as informative as I'd like but a good product other than that!

This mostly adds size to the tiny remote so it doesn't get lost in the couch. It works great with our stereo and tv and makes have one remote so nice!

Works easily with the my tv and easy for everybody to use in the house.
