We bought this hoping that it would allow us to turn the TV on and off and allow us to control the volume on our sound bar. It has worked great for us. It takes a little practice to use the touch pad to control everything. It is sensitive. We dropped cable and now get our programming all through the internet.

Using this makes the remote bigger, and therefore easier to use, and harder to lose under the sofa! I wish that the buttons were easier to program for multiple devices, but it was easy to set it up to turn the TV on and off - so now one remote for TV and Apple TV!

Adds the needed bulk to not lose apple remote. Not the strongest universal remote signal though.

Great addition to my remote. Easy to program to several different devices. My only criticism is that the plastic is very slippery so it makes it awkward/difficult to hold.

This sidekick is the perfect addition to my Apple remote. This allows me to use the advanced features of the Apple remote and also turn on my receiver and change the volume of the system without having to search for another remote.

I have two now. So convenient to consolidate remotes so only have one to deal with while still having built in functionality of the primary remote. Love the programmability of the buttons. This one has attachments for different generations of Apple remotes, so I was able to repurpose a Sideclick I originally got for another device using the extra attachment from this one.

Love these Sideclick remote holders! We were always fumbling with the Apple TV remote and this fixed the problem. We don't even use it as intended, just use it to hold the remote. This way we don't lose it anymore. Wish Apple would have thought about this idea but then they would charge much more for it. I bought 2 so far, it's very handy to have around.

I tried a few of the Harmony remotes but I over complicated it. This is a great alternative. My only complaint is the remote is a tad slippery. Maybe a different type of plastic or something a little more grip would help.

I alsway had trouble holding using the Apple TV remote do its small size. The sideclick fits great in my hand and the additional controls really make using my Apple TV Much better. I used to have to pick up the remote for my tv to change the input to get back to my cable box. I programmed the sideclick to do this for me and it works great.

Apple TV remote by itself is very limited. With the sideclick, The Apple TV remote becomes a full function remote and I can control my tv and sound bar. Used to keep three remotes on hand when using my Apple TV, but now just one! Very easy to program. Wish it had more buttons so I could do even more with the sideclick. Very ergonomic; fits very well in the hand and it makes the 3rd gen Apple TV remote look even cooler.

Works as advertised. Very easy setup and reduces the number of remotes you need to use. I had a remote to turn the TV on and one to change the volume on the receiver. I was able to replace both to with the slide click. The only Con, is the added width. It's wider then the remotes it replaced.

Product is great just a little pricey. Programs easily and works well. I got it specifically to add some size to my remote to keep from losing and dropping it.

Makes your Apple tv remote more bulky. Let's you turn on and off your tv. Change volume and channels. No buttons to change menus or sources though. Works ok if you keep misplacing your remotes like I do.

Sideclick simplified utilization of my apple TV. I only need one remote now to turn on the TV, amplifier, and apple TV. Not all of the remote buttons would transfer, but it works well enough. It works as advertised.

I am using sound bar for my TV and always had to carry 2 remotes. this device helped to club and it made life easy. The device is able to record functions from the other remote with ease.

I bought this as a companion to my new AppleTV, but after researching I found that I didn't need this at all. I did however at first set it up so that it would shut off my TV and receiver when i put the appleTV to sleep, but it turns out that if you set up the AppleTV remote properly you can control your other devices without the need of this SideClick. I still think it is a good product and if I need to control other devices other than my TV, Receiver and or Blu-Ray player I would definitely recommend getting this. it is easy to program and works well once you go through the initial process.

Works good read instructions tells you what to do. Remember there is the same one but for roku , so my advice is please read which controller its for before ordering online. This would be a even better buy if you some how can charge the controller just like how you charge the apple remote

Love that it’s not too big but allows to control other devices.
