Almost there... this piece can be huge when it comes to adding functionality to your six button remote. It does help in a lot of ways.

This is a must have accessory if you own any streaming device. We have apple tv 4th generation whose remote does not have power ON/OFF and some other essential buttons. This attachment makes life so easy since you can program its buttons and you don't have to carry your tv remote all the time. This attachment will do that job for you. Highly recommended

It’s ok it helps out better than I expected it to have no quarrels with the gadget they do send two do u use the one you prefer

It's a good complement for Apple TV remote but not as I was expecting, you can Manage the TV as well some easy set up, i kept it but not he product I was expecting.

Great attachment and easy to program buttons. I use it to program the power button for my TV, the volume, and also my electric fan's power and spin options. YOu can program basically any IR controller to each individual button. Very useful to have it all in one! no more multiple remotes!

So far I haven't had any luck programming the buttons, but it was worth the price (on sale) just to make it easier to hold/find the apple remote!

was going to return a soundbar due to the addition of a remote to my eclectic collection, but with the ease of programming, i was able to eliminate 2 remotes.

Convenient and easy to use, this has reduced the need to use multiple remotes. I use this to turn on my TV, sound bar, and Apple TV, along with changing my output, cable channels, and volume. Great way to hold slippery Apple TV remote as well.

So I have been following this item since it's crowd funding days, and one day a few weeks ago I saw these come on sale here on this site. I jumped at buying three of them to replace multiple remotes in multiple rooms. Programming was easy, the ATV remote fits great and snaps in place, but the size/uneven-weight as a result of this item is absolutely terrible. It pretty much takes me both hands to use.

This device let's you use one remote to control your TV and Apple TV. No more keeping up with two remotes. Learning function works well and there are two extra buttons to let you program things like mute or sleep timer. Great purchase!

This is a must have addition to the AppleTV Remote. It adds so much more functionality to the AppleTV remote. The buttons are easy to program and use. It also makes the AppleTV remote feel more natural in your hand.

Works with my Apple TV 4 but there it takes patience set up the access buttons. It does may the Apple TV remote control wider, which helps finding it

Makes the Apple Remote more versatile. It also makes the Apple Remote wider and therefore harder to “lose” while still being comfortable to use. It was easy to program using our current TV remote.

Fits my Apple TV remote perfectly. Since my TV is an old plasma from early 2000's, the 4gen Apple TV cannot control the on/off and volume of the TV so this is where it comes in. It eliminates the use of the TV remote and programming was easy.

This is a great piece to add to the home theater setup if using an Apple TV. Much easier as a streaming to now be able to switch to the antenna and change channels without having to have a second remote nearby. After trying this out I bought 2 more for my other TVs.

even though the new apple remote has IR built in and controls some functions of your devices, the sideclick is a must have, it learns from your remote so you can program it to anything you want it to do. I have one of these for all of my apple tv's and suggest everyone getting one.

I have several of these sideclicks which can really come in handy when your primary TV remote is for an AppleTV or Roku.

I was a bit hesitant to get this but I figured what the heck as it was on a Deal of the Day. It's sooo easy to set up and works well with my Apple TV and regular TV. I now only need one remote to watch TV. I set up the extra buttons for a sleep timer and I put button.

When I saw them on Deal of the Day I rushed to buy 2 but didn't notice they were for Apple TV. I have Amazon Fire TV. Brought them back to Best Buy and exchanged. Luckily mine were on sale that week too. When you program yours be sure to face the remote IRs together. They work exactly as expected.

Love this! Especially if you have a soundbar or other items to control. Combines the Apple Remote with Soundbar controls: Off Volume Up Volume Down Mute Turns on my Blu Ray player and can play and stop with this. Makes life easier.
