An excellent lens for EF mount shooters doing wildlife and sports. I would not recommend it for anyone with an APSC sensor because you'll be losing a stop of light which will really impact you in any low light situation. But I adapted this to my R6 Mk. II and absolutely love it.

This lens is very well made. Does feel a little heavy but that's why it comes with tripod mount. Pictures are clear and crisp.

Love this lens. Coupled with the Canon EOS 80D DSLR, results in excellent pictures. Primarily shoot wildlife with this lens and have excellent results. This combination is very responsive and it is a rarity that I miss shots now. Lens quality is great for the money.

This is a great entry level lens into the world of telephoto photography. The best part is that this is simply a great lens. Take the time to purchase the Sigma Dock, so that you can tune the lens to your camera, and get absolutely razor sharp photos with precise bokeh.

Excellent telephoto lens for long range shots. Great for PI work, nature shots and sports shots. This lens is a manual and fully automatic. You just need a steady hand to handle this baby.

Great birding lens for the money. I have a Canon t6i and they work very well together. A sturdy tripod is a must for spot-on pictures as it is rather heavy and not so much a hand-holding lens. I would definitely recommend purchasing the USB Dock to set-up the lens the way you want it and also to upgrade the software.

I bought this hoping the take bird pics with great depth of field and great picture quality and I was not disappointed concerning this but was totally pleased in picture quality. the only problem was that after holding the lens up for a while, I feel like the lens weighs about 10 lb(it does't really I don't think) but it still feels like it. I know you can use a tripod but I just usually grab and shoot. If you will use a tripod or have strong muscles it would be great and have great pic quality, but if you want convenience and lack arm strength I don't recommend. I was mixed on this!

I spent 4 days photographing landscapes, water fowl, swamp critters, and purple martins under varying light conditions. The lens was fast, smooth, and the pictures were practically flawless. I recommend this lens to any novice photographer on a budget.
