I was skeptic because I only own Canon lenses but I was very impressed with this lens. I also read a lot of reviews with focusing issues but so far I’ve had none. I am mostly using it for indoor studio portraits and so far it’s been an excellent lens.

Perfect lens for family photos. It was my first upgrade for my canon and I love it definitely will be getting more from sigma

I am not a pro photographer but it has been my hobby for 40 years. I love this lens. Great portrait shots on my grand children and family. Bright, clear, with a wonderful bokeh. I did a day of photographing colonial homes in historic Philly... outstanding results.

This is an amazing lens. Since purchasing it, it has been the only lens I use. It is the perfect frame size and really makes your photos in manual mode pop. Great for all ability levels, those new to photography and experts. Highly recommend!

Tack Sharp, super bright lens. I'm using this on my D90, this lens is tack sharp, let's in tons of light (hence no need for OIS), highly recommend for Portraits or every day lens.

This was exactly what I needed. I was tempted to spend the exact grand on the Canon one but after reading the reviews I decided to give this sigma a try and I am so glad I did. What an amazing lens they made. I highly recommend.

Bought to take photos for a vacation. Focus was on family shots and not having to use a flash if possible. Got outstanding results, family was amazed. Beautiful bokeh with my Sony A7M2. Only issue is that I may need to upgrade my ES to eMount converter to get quicker autofocus in low light.

The best story telling lens! Captures the subject and the background in a super crispy way! Definitely recommend.

Just wow! I bought this lens after thoroughly reviewing it for my canon 5d Mark IV and it is just amazing. Better than the canon 35mm lens as this is sharp on the edges and better quality. Amazing portraits and this has become by second to go lens after canon 24-70 2.8.

I absolutely love my Sigma Art 35mm. It's tack sharp, and gives me amazing quality images. I was nervous about buying a lens not from Canon but my fears were washed away real quick. This lens is now on my camera 80% of the time.

This lens is very artistic and gives more depth in you images. All of the users who vomplain about the focusing issues just dont properly understand how to use it. Great price and great lens!
