Customers are saying

Customers admire the 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Standard Lens for Nikon's exceptional image quality and impressive bokeh, frequently praising its sharpness and creamy, aesthetically pleasing background blur. Its fast autofocus is also a significant plus for many users. However, some find the lens to be quite heavy.

I used to have the Nikon 35mm 1.8, so I decided to switch and I love it! of corse it has some problems because it is not a Nikon lenses but that is why is cheaper than Nikon! so far works for what I need it!

Love this lens, makes my images so sharp. I love how the grip is designed compare to Nikon because it is a lot more rubber and harder to drop it as you put it on.

I purchased this lens for my son and he absolutely loves it! He has a Nikon DLRS D700 (I think that's the number) and he uses this lens more than his other 2 lenses.

Worst lens I’ve ever tried to use. Extremely heavy. Bought for indoor use and focus is off. Overall quality of images is grainy and unprofessional looking. Outside in perfect lighting, images are decent if close to subject. Missed my cut off of returning the product because I and others unsuccessfully were trying to calibrate the lens to my camera. Buy Tamron if you’re looking to save $
