Dope lens, that 1.4 clean. Not to heavy and the ring is nice and smooth for Manuel focus

I have owned, borrowed, or rented 20-30 lenses for the Sony E mount. This Sigma 56mm is the absolute best portrait lens, no doubt! It's even better than the Sony 85mm F/1.8 FE. Probably because the FE is meant for full frame so I found the Sigma is sharper on the APSC camera since the Sigma 56mm is meant for APSC only. If you like portraits don't even think twice! Buy this lens now.
