I really couldn't be happier with this lens. So far it seems like it's doing a fine job. It's fast to focus and takes wonderful pictures. I have no complaints.

Lens is heavy but not too heavy. It is a substantial upgrade from my variable aperture zoom lens.

I went to get the item repaired because my photos weren't coming out as sharp as I wanted. They told me it would be 2 weeks to check calibration so I changed my mind and decided to trouble shoot again first. Turns out, I had my camera set on the wrong focus. Once I used the correct focus setting to focus and recompose, all my pictures look amazing!

Since I couldn`t afford Nikon version of 70-200mm, I decided to go with Sigma. I did very extensive research and decided it`s worth the money. It`s been over a month, I took maybe thousand pictures with it. I can say this I`m in love with it. It`s a perfect lens for portrait works. Gives wonderful color and bokeh at f/2.8. Focusing speed is very very good. It has a learning curve as a matter of fact. at f/2.8 the depth of field is soo shallow and it`s so hard not to move with this heavy lens. I suspected back/front focusing but after I did the test I see no problem. You just need to hold very steady while shooting at f/2.8. Also you have to carry your camera with a shoulder strap when this lens attached so you can let your wrist rest while not shooting. If you want to invest on 70-200mm, buy this, you will be soo happy. Con: Close to 200mm, pictures are soft. Pros: All the rest: sharpness, bokeh, price, focusing speed

This is a very useful lens for any semi-pro photographer. It is an essential to have a reliable telephoto on hand. Although at times the focusing mechanism is slow, it still produces phenomenal images. After using this lens the focusing isn't a problem. Without weather weather sealing, I'm prepared for the day I must shoot in rain, snow, or any other type of moist weather.

This lens is outstanding. The lens is great for photographing weddings and fast enough for indoors sports events. With an f/2.8 gives you the ability to use this lens in low lighting .

This lens was on my mind for a long time. It obviously is in that pricerange that makes it a stretch. But I shot a wedding and this lens was used almost the whole time. It is very heavy. On my Nikon D610 the combo is very heavy to hand hold, but the image quality is unparalleled! Best investment I have made in my photography!

The sigma 70-200 offers 90% of what the canon and Nikon are capable of for half the price. The OS works great I could shoot sharp images free hand down to 1/2 seconds. AF is fast, it hasn't caused me to miss any shots yet. This lens is my go to portrait lens and gives me professional quality at a price I can afford.... Because I literally didn't have 2.5k to drop on one lens which is,what the Nikon and, canon cost .

I’ve had the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 for a little more than a month now and I’m in love with this lens. Photos are beautiful and crisp with beautiful creamy bokeh. I use this lens with my Nikon D7200 and it works wonderfully despite it being a crop censor. You just need a bit more space to shoot in. I absolutely love this lens.

I've had this lens for a few weeks now. I'm an amateur photographer that wanted an upgrade from the kit lens. This lens fits the bill. I'm still learning how to fully utilize it, but I know it will be perfect for my needs. The only complaint I have is the weight of the lens. I do a lot of sports photography, and the added weight is taking some time to adjust to, for me. Overall, I would recommend this lens to anyone wanting to upgrade but not break the bank.

I'm an amateur photographer that was looking to upgrade a bit from the standard lenses. There's a bit of a learning curve for using this, but I've gotten some nice photos with it. My biggest complaint is the weight of it. It's a bit bulky for carrying around for long periods of time.

I use this lens for spontanious shots as things develop. Does a great job of getting fast, in focus shots of birds and critters in my neighborhood and at the beach with birds.

I'm an throughly impressed with this lens. I have had it for about a month and it is phenomenal on my Nikon d750. I like the low light capabilities that it offers and I enjoy using it for portraits. It is not as sharp as the Nikon 70-200 but I also didn't have to spend 2000+ for it.

I had the sigma 18-300 but it was a struggle to deal with it in low light at 300mm, so I went out on a search and found the 70-200 full frame and I decided to go with the sigma because apparently the Tamron has a lot of problems where I compared; nothing big but if you want to spend 1300 bucks on a lens you want a good one and I don’t regret my purchase; I would get the canon 70-200 but I am on Nikon and not canon so I went with the sigma
