Sometimes the coloring is not so great but pretty good compared to the Nikon 70 - 300 mm.

Lense works well with Nikon D500. I mainly use this lens for outdoor sports but have also used for Family photos and just everyday shots and I love it. My only wish is it was 50mm-200

It took me quite some time to decide on this lens. I'm using this lens on a crop sensor nikon camera(D7000). Auto focus is fast. I cannot say it's silent though. Results are super sharp. I have used it extensively for event photography. I was able get 1/100s at ISO 1250 and make perfect exposures. f/2.8 is a huge advantage. OS ( Optical Stabilization) is a boon too. Helps big time in low light hand held situations. Overall I ended up using it for 2 purposes. Events and Portraits. Bokeh is smooth and soothing to eyes. Makes subject pop up.
