This is the best Indie Horror game I have played in the past 10 years. It's got great writing and cut scene direction, with the limited resources that the team had. It really embodies that older style they were going for. Is a modernization of classic style horror game that I would suggest playing before those classics.

Great survival horror game! Atmosphere, art style, music are on point!

For those who are on the hunt for a retro survival horror experience, this game delivers on everything fans loved about that era. Gameplay, story, atmosphere, puzzles, and music brings back memories of classic Resident Evil and Silent Hill. It has multiple adjustments and settings to make the game tailored to the way you want to play it like for example choosing classic tank controls over free range movement. Highly recommend checking this one out, plus physical copies of the game come with a special 3D lenticular photo! But it may be limited, so act fast if interested!

A game with excellent atmosphere, music, story and gameplay.

The game oozes atmosphere and slowly unravels a very weird and interesting story with great old school gameplay. If you are a fan of older PS1 survival games, you will be right at home with the puzzles, limited inventory and scarce resources. The games isn't particularly hard at the beginning, but some of the later puzzles will make you think outside the box. Definitely a must play.

Dope game. Highly recommend to any survival horror fans. Classic RE gameplay with a modern feel and unique visuals/story. 10/10 Note: Switch runs this game at 30fps. Get it on other platforms if you want 60fps.

Honestly, one of the scariest and most interesting games I've played on the Switch. Darkwood is a close second. IF you are familiar with RE or Silent Hill gameplay, this will fit like a glove. It has a fascinating story and great gameplay even it is a bit dated.

Fantastic game that captures that old school survival horror feeling. The story is appropriately dark and disturbing with sprinkles of hope here and there. The puzzles are challenging but not so much that they frustrate. My only real issue is the combat. Once it becomes clear you can run past most enemies, the game loses a little bit of that fear factor. But overall you would be hard pressed to find an experience quite like this. A little Resident Evil, a little Silent Hill, a lot of fun.

Its a difficult game and may not be too old looking for you. This game is a trip though, if you like mysteries and can take your time. This is amazing. Not even my type of game generally, but very memorable

The art style is 2.5D so it looks like a very pretty PS1 style game. Also, the puzzles are much better than most RE games.

Incredible throwback to OG survival horror. If you grew up on the original Resident Evil and Silent Hill games, or if you went back as a modern gamer and found love for them recently you will also love this. Takes the greatness of those games and slaps a cyberpunk, Bladerunner aesthetic on it.. can't go wrong.

I'm excited for this game but Best Buy's shipping dissapoints me yet again they always lose/delay my orders and this game is one of them i always have to wait a month before I get my order or they straight up lose it. That aside this game is amazing

An amazing and creepy sci fi blend of resident evil and silent hill. The devs knew what made those games great and if you an itch for old school survival horror and great pixel art then this is for you.

Great game! The graphics remind me of the early PS1 games. I would recommend this if your into the early survival horror games of the PS1 era.

Great game with original PlayStation vibes. It also comes with some nice extras included in the game case.

Pixel style resident evil type game. If you like those types of graphics and game style, you'll like this.
