Never played any of the silent hill games and this one looked amazing. The atmosphere is so spooky to play with the lights off. I really enjoy the game and had a blast trying to figure out what was going on.

What we wanted and more. I was so worried for this remake as it is my favorite game. IT'S AMAZING. Updated combat, same great story and I can't wait to play over and over.

I was so nervous about this remake being done by bloober team. I'm so happy to say that they have done the impossible and made this better than the original in every way. The music, sound effects, smooth gameplay, great voice acting and beautiful graphics. This is the best psychological horror game ever!

Great game.... Just like the Silent Hill games of the past..

I never got the chance to play the classic version of Silent Hill 2, after hearing how Great this game is with its bone-chilling and tragic story. But when Konami announced a trailer for the Silent Hill 2 Remake, I was so excited for its release date so that I can play this masterpiece for the first time. After this remake was released, I was stunned at how amazing, terrifying, and Eerie this remake was. It's a must play for classic and newcomer Silent Hill fans.

I've never played the original, but this remake is an excellent third person survival horror game, with excellent sound design, and fun gameplay!

I'm a die-hard fan of the original which was gifted to me when I was 13. This released exactly on my 33rd birthday so it was a no brainer to pick this up. I've been following the development of this game since the announcement and had to withstand the amount of hate this remake was getting as more info was released. I had my hopes that it would be good and show the haters up and I'm so happy that's exactly what it did. This remake is up there with the likes of RE2 and Dead Space remakes. It's terrifying, looks and plays amazing and is totally faithful to the original while adding so much new content. I love this remake and hope others pick this up as well.

I’m old enough to have played the original SH2 and it’s still stayed with me all this time. The Remake honors that but deepens the story and characters and playing in 3rd person now is perfection. There’s so many nods to the original even though this game stands on its own and you can tell a lot of love and care into it. Walk, don’t run, to fully enjoy it.

"In my restfull dreams I see that place..." those words have haunted me for the 20 or so odd years since my teenage self picked the original Silent Hill 2 up for the PS2. This game defined horror and looks to reclaim its throne as creepiest game of all time. Silent Hill 2 remake is up to the task as it does not just retell the same story with the same beats. This game follows the blue print but takes it to horrifying new heights by creating a more seamless and modern take on this dystopian tale.

No need to play the other silent hill games before this one. This game stands all on its own with good story, amazing visuals, and solid gameplay

We all had our doubts. I mean remaking one of history's greatest games was going to be impossible, right? Well, it turns out that the crew at Bloober Team had exactly the right skillset and reverence for the source material. Silent Hill 2 (Remake) is an absolute masterpiece. Aside from a few technical hiccups around visuals, there isn't a single thing to complain about here. If you enjoy psychological horror, do yourself a favor. Buy this game. Play it. Soak in the greatness!

Didn’t play a silent hill since PlayStation 2 I guess and this is very good! Much better graphics and scary

This game is Phenomenal! I have never played the original but I have seen it as a playthrough. So when I first learned about the remake I was hesitant about it mainly because of the initial trailer, which did not look good. But HOLY! I played this game to completion. Its creepy, its fun, and the most important thing...It's depressing! Which is the one thing I have always known about the overall theme of the game. My girlfriend also loved going through this experience with me and I truly recommend this game for any person who love playing horror games.

Are you a David Lynch fan???? Did you love Twin Peaks? Or Mulholland Drive? If you did… or have not ever watched! This game reaches into the mind of this man! Beautifully portrayed by Masashi Tsuboyama the director of this game! Please play this game! Turn off all the lights! If possible, put a head set on! And get immersed into a psyched out horror journey! I played this game years ago… and I can say that this remaster is probably my favorite! (RE2 being #1). You will not be disappointed! Beware of the nightmares that might come!!!! Lol

The game was fully wrapped and in great condition. No disc scratches or packaging problems. The game itself runs well so far with no issues. It's faithful to the original Silent Hill 2 while changing things up to keep it fresh. I'll always miss the campy dialogue, voice acting, and crunchy graphics of the original, but they preserved a lot that I wasn't expecting. Fans of the original and new fans alike will probably enjoy this. Don't expect an exact copy, but it doesn't stray TOO far. I'd recommend it for new and old fans of Silent Hill.
