Unhappy with the company was unable to make the prepaid card work with the hotspot I had to exchange the device three times and it still wouldn't take it and then they refunded my Hotspot but would not refund the prepaid card that I bought for the hotspot that they could not connect and simple mobile where is no help at all so I actually lost 50 bucks throughout this whole process and time invested was wasted

this device and the SimpleMobile service are TERRIBLE. I oringally purchased the device in San Diego, and it worked fine, then later in northern california - had terrible reception - understandable, then in Oregon - it goes into ROAMING mode and throttles the bandwidth to unusable levels (facebook won't load, and no streaming services work). There customer support is terrible, and when they can't solve your problem - they simply disconnect from the phone call - so you need to start over again

It's a 4g device which is not as fast as a 5g network but it still works okay.

Worked well for our trip and 15GB plan was plenty for 1200 miles of driving with GPS and occstional FB/snap scrolling on one device (ended up using roughly 5ish closer to 6GB of data)

So in order to activate this hotspot you need a plan and when you buy a plan from Best Buy the PIN code is NOT on the receipt but in your Best Buy account. I was getting so frustrated because on the instructions it said it be on the receipt and the employees at my best buy were useless and unhelpful. Especially the guy that checked us out kept telling us that it should go into my email that’s with Best Buy. Proceed to ask me if this the correct email address -_- which it was. SMH later on once I find out my pin code from the Best Buy account I get an error message that I couldn’t activate it and I even tried to purchase another plan on the simple mobile website. Which didn’t work…. Call support and you’ll never get in touch with anyone UNTIL…. Hours later lol I got a hold of someone on the chat on their website which was wayyy easier and they got it activated asap. This could all been avoided if Simple mobile had better instructions or something. I almost crashed out because I was so frustrated. Nonetheless once it work everything was great.

It's been one month since we purchased our Moxee hotspot. For the life of me I cannot comprehend why the others are so expensive. It's not the most cutting-edge piece of tech and nor does it need to be. It's a simple connection device and it works as intended. I bought this for my wife to use while running the kids to school and around town. It took a few simple steps to set-up the account and get it connected. Nothing anyone who's activated a cell phone on their own can't handle. The base setting is 2G but, with some help from YouTube, I went into the settings and enabled 5G. The hotspot has been used literally every day with over 40gb of data used. Mainly YouTube. There have been no issues with connection or signal loss. I can't speak to the range because it's only being used in the car. All in all, very satisfied.

Simple to set up, easy to use, and fits perfectly in my handbag. Strong enough to connect to my TV, IPad & cell phone. Powerful wireless with no buffering.

I used this device at the Texas A&M vs notre dame game in a very crowded parking lot to stream football games from YouTube tv and several other people used the wifi to surf the web. We streamed games on a lower resolution (480p) and it only buffered once before quickly regaining a strong connections. I had a continuous stream for 6 hours and we used 3gb of data. Once set up, this device is insanely easy to use and is small enough to not be intrusive. I also used this device on the road to upload videos to social media when I had only one bar but it quickly uploaded them. Only a couple days of use but I love it.

Excellent, strong, little device. It was perfect to get my 92-year-old grandmother (who streams music on Amazon Music and TV shows) online - great for my son to connect his iPad to Wifi when we visit, so he can play games, and great to link my MacBook while there and I need to work. All of these devices have been logged into the wifi with NO problems.
