This is a good device, but it comes with an outdated SIM card. After trying to activate the device, the Simple Mobile Service Representative suggested I return it to the store and exchange it. After doing so, it still couldn't be activated because, again the SIM card was outdated. I had to purchase a new SIM card before the device could be activated.

It functions as expected but you have to buy an additional service card.

I was desperate and this did the job. I never needed it again, and realized I had purchased one two years earlier but left it when I flew out to Phoenix. It is great to have, just in case.

Good use when youre working offsite & need connection for your laptop. Battery life with constant use is approx 4-5 hours. Usually i have it connected in the vehicle & never occurs a problem. Maxmium speeds is approx 30-45 mbs throughout the state of florida. It can decrease in areas like Ocala FL. where it is limited access to internet due to the forrest.

In SW Florida I have this unit and it basically comes to a standstill during the daytime, I assume from all the internet traffic. It is not unusual to wait over 10 minutes go from one page to the next. During the day I use my cell phone's hotspot to get some resemblance to interactive connections. Moxee works ok in the middle of the night when internet traffic is low.

I needed wifi where I was at so I decided to buy this hotspot device. It was easy to set up. Just needed to buy a data plan and boom I had wifi where I was at. Would definitely recommend if anyone needs wifi without the high price tag or wires attached.

As a 4G/LTE cellular access point, it does the job. I find it odd that you can have either 2.4G or 5G but not both at the same time. The biggest annoyance is the limited choice of the data plans. I never tried pulling the SIM and putting something else in.

It worked until it didn't. I ay almost $100 in data,I didn't renew it because it went out fast.

It works good, very good size. Easily portable, changes fast.

Good hotspot backup. Easy to take with you and connect. Interface is a bit confusing but ultimately legible.

I had low expectations for this hotspot and network but surprisingly it worked really well. Kids used driving to Florida and back and we didn’t really have any issues. The 50gb of data that I bought went pretty quick though with one of the kids streaming Netflix for hours. Can get expensive with volume users.

This mobile Hotspot worked at a high performance level during my two week vacation. The performance was high throughout the two weeks the convenience of no-contract purchase what you need when you need it. Very easy to set up w/o any issues just follow the directions.

I am not impressed with this device. Trying to set it up was very difficult, and even the customer service was having a hard time getting it up and running. It also took 20 minutes for everything to be completed.

Everything arrived safely and the product worked as expected.

The simple mobile hotspot worked fantastic. easy set up. I had no internet due to at&t constant rescheduling my installation. So I bought this Simple Mobile hotspot and it worked great. I now have my at&t and actually the Hotspot is better and cheaper than my AT&T. Highly recommend.

This is not for the technically "faint of heart". I had nothing but problems from the get go. The activation process failed. Geek Squad could not get the device activated. They had me call Simple Mobile support (8778787908). It took about 45 minutes for them to resolve it. The conversation is extremely frustrating because their entire process and support script is designed for mobile phones. Nobody there knows hotspots. There are things nobody, and no website, tells you about this device. It does have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi, but only one band can be active at a time. The directions tell you to go to its webpage at http://192.168.1.1 but fails to provide the username and password. It isn't until much later into the Quick Start Guide that you discover the username is admin and the password. Nobody at Simple support knows this information, so you are on your own. Also, if you talk to them about 2.4G or 5G WiFi, they don't know what to do with that. They will tell you the device only supports 4G, referring to carrier wireless. Buyer beware and good luck!

Works well and was easy to set up the internet service. The little gauge to tell you how much data you have left is really convenient.
