Works exactly as expected, which is what most magnets do ... This is a $15 add on sensor to a SimpliSafe Home Security system and isn't exactly the technology brain of the system ... The value on this buy was that Best Buy had it in stock and delivered it to my car in about 12 seconds ... Otherwise, it's not a sophisticated challenge to use!

We needed another sensor. BB always comes through.

I have to admit I was wary of all the security systems offerred, but Simplisafe works. Have triggured it twice when returning home without thinking and they were on it immediately. Cops rolled by within 1 minute last time even after I had called in. Like it! And very easy to set up. CSR's are great at any questions. So I went to BB and bought two more sensors!

easily installed. However the sticky tape did not hold very well had to use different type. Afterwards it was fine.

very easy to install. I recommend using 3m double sided pads in addition to the somewhat skimpy sticky adhesion strips that it comes with.

I was debating between SimpliSafe and Nest for my set up and ended up going with SimpliSafe because the flexibility of the separate motion and entry sensors. Also the performance of the Simplisafe motion sensor is better. These sensor have detected every door and window opening so far, and are also small and discrete.

Simplisafe is a great product and integrates well with Google. The sticky side doesnt always hold well.

These little things are easy to mount, and they work very well! And they don't cost an arm and a leg.

Why drill holes and run wires? These sensors can be mounted with screws or with the command strips included and the batteries last for years. I’ve been using this system for about three years now

We were able to add this sensor to our existing SimpliSafe home security system. It was super easy to stick to the sensor onto the wall and door. The sensor already has adhesive and all you have to do is peel the cover and press against the area you want it to stick to.

This is a great little sensor that works well and can be used ANYWHERE! Windows, doors, garage doors, gun safes, you name it! You can make each sensor do different things, meaning, one could set the house alarm immediately, the others, such as a door, could have a 15 second delay, while another has a 30 second delay.

Sorry for the sarcastic summary but like EVERYTHING that I've gotten from Simplisafe, it's easy to install and literally works right out of the box. Well, you do need to remove the paper tab to post the device and you do need to add it to your Simplsafe system and you do need to stick it to the window frame but that's it.
