Be aware because the alarm could go off if one of these happens to fall off while you’re asleep and the alarm is engaged! I just purchased some extra strong double sided tape from Amazon, hopefully that will keep them on. These are pricey and should come with sufficient adhesive.

Posted .Our sensors use 3M Command Strips, which are designed to hold firmly on a variety of surfaces, but can be removed without damage. If you need a more permanent installation, we do provide screws as well.

I purchased one with Best Buy installation and the Geek Squad Guy couldn't get it to work properly. So, I sent it back (that was about a year ago) Saw this thing on "Deal of the Day" and...this time I tried it. The contacts were poor quality, the Main base unit fired up okay. Maybe I got a bad batch twice...but I'll be calling a pro company.

This can’t be cleared from the app, it has to be cleared from the keypad. As it warns you that a door is opened when setting it away mode or home.
