  • Installation is a pain.

    Key notes: 1. Technical support through AI bots sucks. Frequent disconnects requiring starting over. Attempts to reach a human failed. 2. I could not install the doorbell. I have a 1990's home with an intercom without a mechanical chime. Incompatible! Why can't they supply a solution for a large number of homes. 3. Outdoor cameras require hard wiring or a solar panel for power. They do have a battery, but who wants to climb a ladder in 3 different locations to change batteries? Something to consider before purchasing outdoor cameras. 4. I spent days trying to get reception from an out door camera. I thought it was due to weak wifi so ibought a wifi extender and paced it between existing wifi and camera. It still did not work. I determined the base station needed to be closer to the camera. When i moved the base station about 10 ft closer it worked. Be prepared to juggle both wifi and base station location. 5. One of the internal entry sensors after 1 week started throwing a lost connection. As soon as i took it off to check the battery it started working. When I put it back it lost connection again. Moving the base station for the camera also was closer to the sensor. No more problems for 2 days. More to follow

    This security system was super easy to setup on your own and works really well. It integrates really well with whatever smartphone you use.

    We tried this system and decided we didnt like it and tried to return it but bestbuy has a 14 day return policy we ended up getting bad snow weather and wasnt able to return it within their return date and now we’re stuck with a 900 dollar system that we dont want.
