Not Making A Difference

I thought my days of frequently needing to charge my camera batteries were behind me, due to the solar powering of these solar panels. Boy was I wrong! It’s as if there is no sun powering these panels…and I know the sun shines on them because I have them placed strategically in direct path of sunlight. I’m still needing to charge less than every 2wks! :-(

Posted .Thanks for reporting. We recently rolled out an automatic update to the Outdoor Camera that can address this rapid draining issue. If your camera is still set up, it should already be updated. Hopefully you're seeing much better performance now!
Solar Panel will not the camara bettery

The solar panel is not charging the battery for the camera, there’s plenty of sunlight daily for about 10 hours or more in El Paso Tx and it will not charge the battery is drain daily. My camera is in the driveway. I brought two panels not much traffic on the second camera backyard can really tell if it’s working. Note: The battery takes 4 to 5 hours to charge. Note: I will test the panel with some other items to see if it works at all. If not, I will return both panels and the camera. I would not recommend this to a friend

We needed a solution extended periods between being able to charge the battery. Just make sure the cable is inserted well into the back of the camera and have some sun and you are set!
