    I was very disappointed when I charged up the batterys only to find out they do not hold the charge. When it sits it depletes the charge. So buying a back up battery only means you can charge it only when the other battery is about to be depleted.

    Trash batteries. This is my second battery. It only lasts about 2 days and it’s dead. Don’t buy. The Simplisafe camera is cool but don’t get it unless you’re ready to buy multiple batteries and change them every two days.

    Full charge lasts 3-4 weeks with motion-activated lighted recordings. Lengthy live surveillance runs the battery down faster. I keep an extra battery on hand because it takes up to 5 hours to fully recharge. Quick and easy install.
