Full charge lasts 3-4 weeks with motion-activated lighted recordings. Lengthy live surveillance runs the battery down faster. I keep an extra battery on hand because it takes up to 5 hours to fully recharge. Quick and easy install.

I added doorbell and back door camera. The wireless camera needs to be charged ever month or sooner. I’m going wired. It sometimes takes 5 minutes for the video to show up and be viewed. My last wireless system was instantly. After a year, they are charging me $9.95 for nothing. Customer service can’t explain why. My SimpleSafe is about to be replaced. It’s a waste of money.

The batteries should last 2 to 3 months. I have 1 outside facing the driveway and part of the street and 2 inside facing the back door. In 19 days we had to recharge the batteries 3 times. Not good. We are going to return the whole package if they dont do some about it. Very disappointed.

Batteries are trash. 3 to 5 month is a false claim. Maybe 3 weeks on minimum settings for all options. With today's technology it's ridiculous. Camera is useless if batteries are.
