Great system for a quick setup and secure monitoring. Purchased for a rental property as I was fixing it up and gave me peace of mind when I wasn’t there that no one else was either. Only downfall is they charge you more in the monthly subscription to use their app.

That's what I said when I set up this system. Such a pleasure to have a user friendly set-up and use. I've had it for a couple weeks and it works great. I have had a couple of false alarms (user error) and the response from SimliSafe was prompt and professional. I am totally happy with my decision to purchase, and have added additional window alarms, too.

Bought this for a family Christmas present. Great product. Our 95 pound dog doesn’t trigger the motion sensors like I was afraid would happen. We all feel more secure and less likely to sleep with our shotguns. Although if you wanted to rob my house, you could crawl around like my dog and not trip the motion sensor. Wouldn’t recommend that though, Lucy “plays” rough and would probably put you in the hospital.

If this is your first time protecting your home, SimpliSafe Security is a good start. Quick set up and activation. Enough equipment to provide security over a wide area. There is also a backup in place for power outages. Excellent feature. One downside -- the camera is VERY DIFFICULT to set up and connect to the rest of the system. Something to think about.

The SimpliSafe - Shield Home Security System is perfect for protecting a smaller home or an apartment. However, the limited number of motion sensors and the absence of glass break detectors in the "Shield" version of this product seriously limits its usefulness for homes with multiple rooms or several floors. In these types of residences it is sometimes impractical to place window sensors on every upstairs window. Also, homes with casement windows can require 2 sensors to protect a single window. In these situation, it is possible to protect multiple areas by placing glass break sensors in rooms with multiple windows or by placing motion sensors strategically in hallways or in "great rooms" or facing stairways. There no glass break detectors included in the "Shield" version of this product and are not enough motion sensors in this version of the SimpliSafe product to protect any home that has more than just a couple of rooms.

Simply Easy. Best deal available. Battery backups. Cellular contact to service provider. Had to buy a monitored system to reduce insurance costs. Payed for itself in year one, free ever since. What drew me to Simplisafe is the ease of install, no contracts, simple and affordable pricing, and feature rich with room for expansion.

The system was super easy to set up. Some of the adhesive was a bit weak so some of the sensor fell off after a few days. Luckily I was home to disable the alarm before it went off and called the police. Definitely recommend mounting with a screw or using a stronger 3M tape. Love the monthly, no contract plan.

I truly enjoy this product. I have multiple sensors on my house and one day when I wasn't home one of the sensors fell off. Cops were called and all they found was a window sensor on the floor. Needless to say I wasn't to happy. I haven't had an issue with any of the other sensors. I cleaned all area before sticking the sensor on. It was stuck to metal.

easy to install. works well. Took me about an hour to install the whole system. I'd recommend to use screws for the motion detectors and keypad vs. just the tape otherwise they can fall. The entry sensors are light enough that the tape works just fine.

Bought this on sale where the doorbell camera was included. Really like the ease of use and being able to have some home protection. I like the motion sensors but also like the small sensors for windows and doors. The notifications when something opens is very nice. The home monitoring is more expensive than they state( watch for the phrase “starts at”)

As the name implies, everything about this system is simple. Install was straightforward, with the only detraction being the weak factory adhesive tape on the sensors - easily remedied with some heavy duty double-sided foam mounting tape. Set up was quick, with all programming occurring via the keypad. All in all a great alternative to traditional alarm systems.

We had ADT gut when they couldn't communicate with our keypad we had to have an alternative. Went to BestBuy and purchased the Simply Safe system. Within 30 minutes after opening the package it was up and runninig. It can connect with the monitors through the cell tower or my WIFI

Great system, easy to install, and cost competitive.

This has turned into a pretty good security system for us. I like the starter pack that I got, and I actually didn’t have enough opener sensors so I just put the basics on. Would’ve really liked to have an optional doorbell/video camera as part of the package but it was not offered. System is easy to set up as advertised and fairly easy to use.
