Makes a great dog cam

When we got home is captured our entry, disabling the alarm on the keypad, and continued for a while. Good to know it will do what we intended.

After calling SS becuase the BB cameras would not connect to WIFI, we were told the BB cameras had old software and that was the problem. SS sent new cameras & they connected. SS sent a mailer to return the bad cameras.

Posted .Thanks for the feedback! It's possible that cameras purchased at retail could still have older versions of the firmware. Normally, the camera should just automatically update to the latest, but that does require an existing connection! But glad to hear we were able to get that replacement sent out.

It’s has motion as well which can be switched on or off. It can record. With the service, the police will have a video of what happens. Easy to install and use with the software.

I use simply safe in two locations and have had trouble with the indoor camera. I have the outdoor cams and they work fantastic. So to be clear, when my indoor cam says of line, my wireless outdoor works perfectly. My indoor cam is about 10 ft from my wireless router. I had one replaced before and works much better but these cams are unreliable. My recommendation is to use an indoor/outdoor cam inside (if that’s where you want it) and keep it plugged in.
