It's better than their first generation indoor cameras. I made sure I had the correct subscription from SS so I can utilize the features of this smart alarm security camera. I asked the SS agent if I can test this camera so they can talk to me from the camera, but the agent said it wasn't possible to test unless I want the police knocking on my door. I don't want to do that because the city might charge me for a false alarm penalty. Video quality is very clear. As I said, it's better than their first generation indoor cameras.

I purchased this to put on my kitchen counter to see what is going on when I am not home. It works well with my SimpliSafe security system. I like the fact that it has a lens cover so everyday life is not on camera, which was a major deciding factor when I purchased this. Using the SimpliSafe app on my phone, I am able to check in on my dog. I was told he was misbehaving when I am gone so now, I will see what is really going on. When I talk to him through the camera, I see him looking all over the kitchen for me rather confused. I am impressed with how it works through the Security Center so help can be dispatched. Watch the video on the SimpliSafe web site. Impressive. I originally purchased a corded Ring cam. It was smaller, had a lens cover and a long cord I did not like seeing draped on the counter. The battery Rain indoor cam did have a lens cover accessory that could be purchased from Ring and operated manually. I have a Ring doorbell and outdoor security cams which I like. I returned the Ring camera and went with this much pricier one for the added features and to connect to my indoor control pad.

The SimpliSafe alarm system is easy to install, and the addition of the Smart Alarm Wireless Indoor camera is helpful because being wireless we are able to move it around to where we want it, when we want. A nice addition to the wired cameras that came in the package.

This camera is so much better than the wired camera that comes with the security system. Setup was quick and easy and have not had any issues. I really like the video quality and the built in motion sensor only makes the camera better. Plus I purchased it on clearance for a quarter of the original price.

These cameras are easy to set up, whether hanging or leaving on a table. The quality of the video is great and connect quickly to our base stations. Highly recommend.

Pretty nice cameras overall. Really do enjoy The ability for safety team to view the footage when an alarm goes off. They can verify something abnormal and notify the police. The set up was quite challenging on one of the cameras. It did not want to connect. Had to reset the camera multiple times to get the pairing process to finally complete. We have good Wi-Fi. We also have the SimpliSafe base station nearby. It is nice that the camera comes with a charging cord. Would be better if it came with a charging block as well. Or at least the option to add one to the order.

Its easy to set up and use. Connecting to the app and the simplihome smart base was easy. Night vision mode is crisp and I appreciate the privacy shutter when not being used

Nice picture, even in low light. Easy to connect to the system. It advertises that the SimpliSafe rep can talk to intruders. Thankfully haven't had to verify that yet!

Camera motion detection great and great picture quality

I already had one of these cameras, and I saw this was on clearance so I decided why not. I like the battery powered aspect of the camera especially being along the Gulf Coast. My modem/router is on a battery UPS so in a power outage, I still have security. This is a must have if you have the top Simplisafe tier.

Nice camera for the money for indoor viewing. Holds charge for a long time. Maintains link to home system and WiFi pretty seamlessly. Just a caveat- you must have the SimpliSafe tower and five hours to charge the camera. Not a standalone that you link to your phone with the app.

Had a recent burglary and the thief ignored the siren going off and stole the camera that was hanging up on the wall. Bought this to place in a more inconspicuous place and it blends right into the bookshelf it is on. Also like that it is wireless as there is no outlet nearby. Highly recommend.

I love the SimpliSafe door camera so it made sensw to get the indoor camera to watch my dog while away. Clear audio and video. Mounting was easy and it easily connects to your SimpliSafe account with your other devices. I plan to get another one to cover my hallway & front door.
