Overall very good lock which was relatively easy to install and use. One drawback is that you can't set codes for people to use independent of the alarm system.

Love this so much that I bought another. Gives me peace of mind that when my husband leaves the door unlocked it will lock itself. I love the keypad for entry especially when I don't want to fumble for my keys. Also great for guests, because you can give them their own code so they can get in your house if you need them too without worrying about giving out/getting back your keys. Install was super fast and easy too.

This deadbolt and keypad are great to add to the SimpliSafe security system. It is easy to install and looks good. You can set how long before the deadbolt locks after closing your door and it is simple to unlock or lock from the keypad. I bought one for the front and back doors.

Works great with my Simplisafe alarm system. Make sure you have a standard style deadbolt. Some of more decorative and unique locking system deadbolts won't work. Once i got that corrected, the lock works great. Set the alarm and it locks or unlocks the door. Use the FOB to unlock the door for grocery store runs and not fumble with keys. I love it.

I love this smart lock so much that I'm putting them on all my rental homes. Great to be able to open the door without a key, just punch a code. Or in the case of a rental, these allow me to conduct and montior showings without my physical presence. Beware as this device doesnt fit every deadbolt lock (this may not work on some of the fancier/ trendy deadbolt locks).

Replaced an August lock that had been plagued with app issues lately and while we miss the Auto Unlock feature, at least this one works correctly every time and integrates perfectly with our security system. The included keypad is nice and we’ve had no problems with the lock at all. Easy installation and setup too!

Not easy to install or operate. But it is for my case. I end up replacing the whole lock system before installing this. After all, it works perfectly.

This lock was purchased at a great deal! I found a good discount and have had this lock for a few weeks now. I lobe the fact that you can set a special code for visitors and the ease of which one can use it to lock or unlock from your virtual assistant or over the phone or by hand! I like the SimpliSafe alarm system and based on how long I have used it I would recommend it.

Simple to install and easy to use. Instructions are straight forward. Much cheaper than the competitors and does exactly what one needs it to do.

Bought as a Father’s Day gift and installed it on his behalf. The system works extremely well and the installation was quick and easy. The keypad lights up so it’s easy to see in the dark which is extremely helpful. There are also options to have the system auto lock after a certain time. I would certainly recommend this product, it gives the best “bang for your buck.”

The door lock was easy to install and set up. Allows for multiple entry codes but, by design, will also disarm your security system. Important to remember that you must have a SimpliSafe system in order to use this product. The reason I only gave this four stars is due to the lack of being able to control the lock remotely. SimpliSafe has chosen to block remote control of all its devices and base system through an app unless you pay for their monitoring fee. This is great system but lack of control through an app severely limits what you can do with it. You have to pay for access to all of its features. Otherwise, a good system to have as long as you are home to use it.

Very sleek and modern design with a super easy set up! You do need to have Simplisafe services for this lock to benefit you the most but for those looking for an easy and tech friendly smart lock, this is great!

The SimpliSafe - Smart Lock + PIN Pad - Black has been a terrible experience! Installation was the beat part of this product and was easy. The technology is terrible and works for about 20 minutes then drains the batteries and disconnects from the system. It is basically worthless as it is. The pin pad never works because the unit is always disconnected so you are required to use a key which defeats the point. Spend over an hour on the phone with SimpliSafe trying to get it to work... they couldn’t figure it out either. Very disappointing product! Pros - Easy Installation process Cons - Basically everything else

Neat idea, but unreliable system. Devices constantly disconnect from base station and cameras do not always live stream also door lock does not always unlock or lock manually. These problems continue to occur after multiple attempts of troubleshooting and hours of tech support phone calls. Also being able to integrate only one base station is not ideal as you can’t hear the system when your a few rooms away from the base station. Too many inconveniences. This company needs better engineering and testing before putting security systems on the market. If you want peace of mind and reliability try a different company.

Was scepticle about a smart lock but this one took that all away

Worked great for about 2 years. Now it has issues where it constantly sends back to back updates to my phone saying it’s locking and unlocking when it’s not.

We have been slowly expanding our simplisafe setup quote simply because it all works so well together. We have indoor cameras, motion sensors, doorbell (highly recommend) and all the sensors for our doors. I wish we got this lock sooner because it makes taking the dog out for a walk so much more convenient. Don't need to remember our keys or worse forget and leave the house unlocked. The only quirk is it is a bit loud when locking or unlocking and if you have a misaligned door lock the motor may get jammed. You have to make sure your deadbolt slides in and out easily (don't have to hold the door while you turn the deadbolt)
