I love this product, but I wish I could have a separate number for the keypad then I do for the house alarm

I bought this to work with my simplisafe security system. I had a friend install it. It took him a while and he’s an electrician, so I think it’s not very easy. I had a lot of problems with it jamming, maybe because my door is old and the door jam is a bit loose. You have to push the door in more for it to lock properly, if not, it jams.

good product would recommend if you don’t want use a key

We have been slowly expanding our simplisafe setup quote simply because it all works so well together. We have indoor cameras, motion sensors, doorbell (highly recommend) and all the sensors for our doors. I wish we got this lock sooner because it makes taking the dog out for a walk so much more convenient. Don't need to remember our keys or worse forget and leave the house unlocked. The only quirk is it is a bit loud when locking or unlocking and if you have a misaligned door lock the motor may get jammed. You have to make sure your deadbolt slides in and out easily (don't have to hold the door while you turn the deadbolt)

The Simpli Safe was easy to install. It took a little time to learn the programming but over all, it is a good system for safety & accessibility.

I woukd give it 5 but, sometimes it doesnt repond to my keypad. Easy to install hopefully they will work on having a better connection.

Fantastic product that integrates with the overall system very well. I have three of these on the front doors of three rental properties. Makes giving renters, repair people, cleaning staff, etc access to the houses a breeze. I saw some complaints that it does not lock the first time that you press the lock button on the outside of the door. This is likely because the lock is synced with a door sensor. The lock will not lock if it detects the door is open. You just need to shut the door, wait literally one or two seconds, then press the button and it will work every time. It was extremely easy to install. I put it in replacing the thumb turns on kwikset(?) door locks and I had the entire thing functioning in 3 minutes. I also love the systems overall. Including this lock I was able to protect each house with entry sensors, motion sensors, cameras and an extra siren for about $260 each (That is because Simplisafe was running a 50% off promo for Black Friday that also included a free camera). Can’t recommend enough. Great software, easy install, great customer service, etc.

I was expecting this to be much harder since it works with the existing deadbolt. I couldn't have been more wrong! I was up and running in less than an hour. I only needed a screwdriver to remove the back of the deadbolt. Everything else was included. Easy peasy. I haven't experienced any operational issues.

Please note you must have Simplisafe montoring system to be able to use this smartlock as it is intergrated to the securoty system. Installation was so easy with all of the templates. System will lock itself once alarm is on. This smartlock is a must if you currently have Simlisafe monthly monitoring.

If you are already subscribed to Simplisafe, this SmartLock is a no brainer. Seamless integration into your existing hardware with installation taking no longer than 10 minutes for me. Updating firmware and software was easy while setting the pin and sharing keys is simple as well. For the price, it is well worth it.

Pretty good overall and integrates well into an existing SimpliSafe ecosystem. Performance can be a bit spotty but works well most of the time.

Love it! If you are also using the Simplisafe alarm system, entering your house using the door lock keypad will turn off your alarm for you. Easy to use. Installation is relatively easy as well.

They're good locks. Come with everything you need and are easy to connect to the system. I run two of these but have had 3 as one failed. Things that might annoy you about them: a) When clicking "lock" from the outside the lock doesn't always respond so you'll find you have the press the lock button more than once about 70% of the time. b) There are no lights that let you know that the lock is locking from the outside. So if you live on a loud street like I do and you can't hear it locking, you end up pressing the button over and over anyway because there's no indication it happened like there is with other locks. c) The batteries are often (2 out of 3) dead or close to it when you take them out of the box, and 4) If you're door doesn't align well, don't even waist your time. This is true of all automatic locks, but this one lacks the horsepower of a lock like KiwiSet. These aren't forgiving at all. My house is 100 years old with the original doors. Some pretty serious work had to go into getting these to work.

Works great! Installation was very easy. Occasionally the system will say it cannot communicate with the lock but it always works. Nice to able to unlock the door from the keypad without using the key. Also nice to be able to verify the door is locked through the phone app!

Batteries die fast with this famiky going in and out. They keypad works fine but the lock is slow to unlock.

It took me less than 15 minutes to install. I can remotely lock/unlock door through the app. Looks great! It’s important to know that you need to have the $25 a month service with SimpliSafe for this item to work as intended. I’m surely buying a few more for the house.

This door lock gives me & my family a piece of mind when we leave the house. We’re always leaving that door unlocked by mistake but now with this door lock those days are over. Plus it works flawlessly.

Super easy to install! I own 3 of these, they work seamlessly with the SimpliSafe security system. 4 out of 5 stars because I don’t love that the code for the door is the same as for the alarm system. Seems like a weaker security than some of the other locks out there, meaning that anyone who gets the door code can then also disable the alarm.
