Very simple to set up and use. I would definitely purchase again

Reliable, excellent video quality, ease of installation and use. Narrow form factor is a plus.

It has been very beneficial to have immediate feedback when someone approaches the front door. For mail, package delivery, etc., we know when someone has come into the front yard. Video clips are almost immediately available, and we can look at the front yard live anytime we want. With the integration with our SimpliSafe system it also increases overall security. The first one we bought was defective, but we exchanged at Best Buy and the replacement has had no issues.

When installing I had to purchase a new door bell box. SimpliSafe Doorbell would not work on my existing digital chime door bell. The Video Doorbell does not catch people walking up once in a while I have not figured out why yet. Most of the time it works great

It was really easy to install the camara on the door and set up everything within the app. However, after 2 weeks it stopped working pretty much and after playing around with it for a bit we could get it to work intermittently. That being said we went back to Best Buy to get a replacement. That one has worked a little better but there are times where you loose internet connection with even though everything else in the house still have full wi-fi connection. The camera picture is great but the only issue I have seen is with sensitivity, as many times during the night it captures car lights and sends an alert. One downside I would give is that when someone leaves your house it doesn't trigger the sensor.

Works well with other simply safe security devices. Stand alone though, looks like it requires a subscription service to keep a video feed for recording and playback. Picture quality is great and installation was easy. Couldn’t be happier.

This doorbell has excellent capabilities, but it is rare that mine executes all of them at once. It can stream at 1080p, but it chooses to just drop all video recording because of bandwidth instead of auto-lowering resolution. Despite being 50 feet from my router, it constantly tells me in the app that its lost connectivity and I have to manually reconnect it, meaning it's a gamble whether I can see whose at the door or talk through the microphone. I intend to call SimpliSafe and ask for troubleshooting assistance, otherwise this will be my first SimpliSafe item I'm wholly unsatisfied with.

This device was very easy to set up and works very well for our needs. I would recommend this doorbell unit to others.

Installed and using with monitoring for over two months. The picture quality is good even on the lower definition. The motion sensitivity is okay except at night when on the night vision mode. It would alert at passing vehicles. Think that has something to do with the outside house and tree lights being on. So it was either turn off the lights or the night vision. Picture quality is good doing either. The only possible negative is the doorbell chime is very weak when it used to be louder. Am not sure if this due to the new video doorbell or a wiring/transformer/chime problem that was preexisting. There has been a lot different work going on around the house so it’s hard to say since I’ve not taken the time to troubleshoot. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase.

The Simply Safe doorbell camera was easy to find in stock and purchase at Best Buy. Once home it was also easy to install, set up and integrate into our existing system. We are very satisfied with the entire experience. Stay Safe!

Got this doorbell because i already have the SimpliSafe security system setup at home. Super simple to set up and install. It doesnt come with an angled mount but if you contact customer support at simplisafe (if you have an account with them, not sure what happens if you don’t) they will send you an angle wedge for it, free of charge! and it came quickly too. Currently using an amazon mount that is adjustable. Picture and sound is clear. Only had it on for a little over a week but so far so good. I dont believe you need to have the SimpliSafe security to he able to have just the doorbell cam only. But features and storage will be limited. Trying to add photos but it wont let me.

The video quality is great. It drops off the wifi may 15%. It's not intolerable but irks me a little. Definitely no regrets. It took a whole 15 minutes to install and get up and running. I would highly recommend for sure.

Very easy to self install, although with Total Tech we were able to have free installation. Awesome service. Great product, clear video and voice from inside to outside for unwanted people at the door.

Great item and works as planned. Had a little problem with the sensor and SimpliSafe handled promptly and effectively.

Installation was straightforward and took less than 20 minutes. Video quality and audio quality are acceptable, and notifications are almost instantaneous. I would not hesitate to buy this product again.

This is absolutely amazing but there is a rice sized fuse and if that goes out then the doorbell is useless. I’ve experienced this because of family but not myself. If it does not work then make sure to contact the company immediately on it. The fuse is the most common issue in the wiring mount. It can be replaced possibly.

Simpli Safe system ended up being my best choice. Was easy to install and offered several options to self monitor. I am pleased with the video quality and ease of use
