The water sensor came as described. It was delivered the next day too! The instructions to add to our SimpliSafe system were easy to complete. I would recommend. It gives us piece of mind that a problem sink is truly repaired and if it does start to leak we will know it quickly to reduce any potential damage.

I spilt a little water near it and immediate was notified by the device and immediately received a call from the Simplisafe monitoring service notifying me that it detected of water in my basement.

Replaced a bad water softener, and added this device just in case. Great price, and Easy to install. Just pull out the battery tab and hit button, system recognizes it and simply add it to your security system. No worries if I have a leak or a complete water line breakage simpli-safe will notify me. Silly not to have it.

Great product! Definitely worth the investment. A small yet simple device will save you thousands of dollars in repairs.

I recently purchased a SimpliSafe Home Security System for my apartment and was amazed how truly simple it was and it came with this sensor as a free bonus. I placed this one floor in my laundry room next to the hot water heater and washer/dryer unit. I tested it by placing a small amount of water o the floor and it passed with flying colors.

This device gives me peace of mind when I'm not at the house. I tested it with some spilled water and it works well.

As an add on to our simply safe system they provide peace of mind. We had a toilet fail and leak water for an entire day $$$. I was able to find a leak slam but what good is it if you are not home to hear it. If these detect a leak it will notify monitoring system and send alert to my cell. I add 5 of these around every toilet and washing machine and dishwasher.

Water sensors were easy to add to the simplisafe system. Each sensor given unique name to identify where potential leak might be. Will add another star to make it 5 if they catch a problem. Don’t know if they work until disaster strikes.

Setup was about 1 min. The sweat of my hand set it off carrying it to its destination so it works! SimpliSafe called me within about a min to clear the alarm.

A must have for all household water items. You will need the Simplisafe System in order to use these water sensors. After installing, tested one sensor under kitchen sink with water. Alarm was initiated within seconds and text notification sent to the phone. A sense of security for any future water leaks.

Set up was easy but I hope it never sends an alarm!

It was very easy to add around 5 of these to our simplisafe system, which I appreciated. Press a button from the settings areas within the app, name it, and it's ready. Otherwise, we were happy to find a product like this that should help us identify leaks in places like under the sink, dishwasher and an attic (we may not be in very often.) Seems worth it if you like using simplisafe as a smart home alert system as we do.

I purchased 2 off these for the SimpliSafe system we have in the house. I hope to never use these as that would indicate a water leak. I placed one under the water heater and the other under the washing machine. Linked right up with the system fairly easy. Buy the way the SimpliSafe alarm system is an excellent choice also. The doorbell camera picture quality is 2nd to none. I have a detached garage with the smoke detector and entry door sensor that works great. The range is around 150ft with no problem.

Saved us a huge amount of money! It works!!! At first when the alarm sounded I thought something had malfunctioned. It alerted us to water leaking from a pin hole leak in kitchen which quickly reached flooding stage within minutes. Thankfully the alert enabled us to turn our house water off in time to save kitchen from serious damage!

After we tested, this little item does the job. It's small and convenient to use.
