returned, told by installer that they've had nothing but problems with this unit. very sluggish

Would not work in my car unless someone cut my dash for it to fit

This unit has stopped working. I take it back in tomorrow for replacement.

This unit is easy to install and doesn't have any loss of signal issues. Over the years I have had many Xm units including factory units that came with vehicles. By far this is the best for a car I've seen.

I love mine, I installed on my dash below screen flush with no cables showing.

This SiriusXM - Commander Touch Satellite Radio Receiver has a color display that is small like a remote control and I chose to operate it like a corded-remote rather than having it attached to my car audio housing like a built-in display. This satellite radio receives electric power through our car stereo INTERNAL HOUSING and not through a car cigarette lighter/charger; so it will be more likely that you need professional installation by a Geek Squad car stereo expert. The cost to install is $40 extra for Tuner Only or $70-$79 for both the Tuner and Antenna Placement and Wiring. The radio reception is clear and signal strength is powerful. The audio sound is as loud and clear as the big FM radio stations in my local area like: WASH-FM 97.1, HOT 99.5 and MIX 107.3. Driving in my car, tuning in and listening to SiriusXM Channel 51, 52, 53 on this Commander Touch reminds me of those days I drove in a luxury rental vehicle, traveling from South Miami Beach to the Ultra Music Festival at the Bayfront Park, having the audio speakers up to the max. The sound is exceptionally clear and amazing although I have an average set of car audio speakers . This model will give you not only LIVE access to all of the SiriusXM satellite radio channels, but also a special capability to go back track 1 hour to previously broadcast songs on the same channel an hour ago - similar to experience of a video recorder playback on Tivo or home DVR. It even offers a set of supplemental TuneMix tracks, providing a similar music taste for the current Electronic Dance Music Channel. This way, if you tune to Channel 51 and you do not like the song being played at the moment, you do not have to switch to 52 or 53. Instead, press TuneMix and you will get a selection of featured tracks similar to the sounds of Channel 51. For FM Channel selection, you do not need to find a vacant (free) FM channel to broadcast SiriusXM in your car. Instead, you may select the channel of your favorite broadcast station, example 97.1. When you turn the Commander Touch ON, you will enjoy audio coming from SiriusXM; when you turn the Commander Touch off (on Standby), you will enjoy the broadcasting of your local FM station. My recommended presets so that you may get to your favorite channels more quickly: Favorite 1 (on page 1, of course): Channel 10 Favorite 2: Channel 52 Favorite 3: Channel 3 Favorite 4: Channel 4 Favorite 5: Channel 8 (5 means The Best) Favorite 6: Channel 9 (opposite of 6) Software Update (Firmware and NAND): To update the Commander Touch with the latest software Version 36, make sure that you have either one of these 2019 SanDisk Flash Drives: SDDD3-032G-G46 or SDDD3-064G-G46. Using an UNAPPROVED FLASH DRIVE may cause your Commander Touch to FREEZE WITH POWER ON, and this horrible technical difficulty will drain your car battery and you may have to see a car stereo expert again to unplug the power cable or unplug the car battery. Comes with 3 months of everywhere access and music that cheers up your busy days, this is definitely a good buy.

Best of all SiriusXM Radios. Six Favorites in Three Sets, with TUNER MIX it will shuffle the Set; the previso is the set must have music channels, Talk Radio station can be a favorite PreSet but that set of six can't be shuffled, only manually selected. However, that is 18 Favorites you can set in series of six. Phenomenal easy job to install, just need a hole; I created mine nearest my radio. Matched up colour coded wires, and they are also labelled. Easiest Install. Best Buy charges $79.

We were not able to install it in my car. There was too much confuse when we were purchasing the item. No one could tell us if it would work. When we purchased the radio it states right on the box free installation but they said it would cost $39.99. When we went to get it installed the geek squad said that it would be $89.99 to install and he was not sure of how it would sound.

Went through two of these units and Geek squad couldn't get either one to power on. I simply gave up. What a wasted experience.
